Celebrity Justice
Dark Night for Batman Director's Ex

Tim Burton has finally knocked the wind out of his ex-fiancee.

We've learned the California Court of Appeal has just put the kibosh on Lisa Marie's palimony lawsuit. She sued the famed director, alleging that he strong-armed her into accepting more than $5.5 million to walk away from the relationship.

In true Britney style, Lisa Marie (not Presley) said, "Gimme More." She sued Burton, who directed "Batman" and "Edward Scissorhands," but today the court said the case should be dismissed. It had been scheduled to go to trial next week.

Barring a Hail Mary, she will get no more fabulous parting gifts.

17. Let me get this straight...this chick was in a relationship with Tim Burton, and he gave her $5.5 Million to set her up for life when the relationship ended. And the stupid bitch sued him for more? What a money grubbing gold digging bitch. Good for the judge for dismissing this ridiculous BS suit; I'm glad he bitch slapoed her...

18. I bet that Tim Burton is still mad at what Lisa Marie did to him a few years ago. I read that Lisa had the key to a storage building where Tim had all his movie stuff and his personal items stored. I guess Lisa sold all the contents of the building- without telling Tim. I guess Tim was really furious about it.
It serves him right- he should have never dumped sweet Lisa Marie.

19. Wow, she's beautiful..What went wrong there? I guess he prefers the more unkept, in need of a good bath kind of woman.

20. I wonder why he would agree to pay her that money? They were not married and therefore she had no legal claim to anything he acquired throughout his very successful carrier up until now. Good for him though. Dumping her before the nuptials probably saved him a lot more money when she would inevitably divorce him later. We as a society need to say enough is enough to marriages for money. Stories like this set bad precedents and embolden others to pursue similar money grabs. There seems to be a sense that mere association with a wealthy person entitles you to a piece of their wealth. Money is not like mono, you don’t get it by kissing. Thank god the Judge dismissed this and thank God TMZ made the dismissal public.

21. I used to hear that she was mad at him because he'd promised to put her in his movies (like he does with Johnny Depp) and that fell thru when they broke up. She then wanted the money she felt she would have earned had she been in those movies.

22. Whoa whoa whoa. Quick correction. Christopher Nolan directed "Batman" not Burton.
