Sporting a cool new 'do, the 53-year-old vacationed in Maui on Tuesday looking tan and fit. Who needs Jenny Craig?

WOW! I'm 47 and Van Halen was a big part of my teenage hood. He looks FANTASTIC! It's hard to believe its him, but you can kind of tell it is. Just havent seen him healthy to much i guess. He looks good with a little meat on him. Now thats a comeback!

absolutely not Eddie Van Halen - there's no way he gained that much weight - their last picture of him was 3 months ago and he was his usual rake self.

the eyes are wrong, the nose is wrong - this guy just has the same tattoo as Eddie

I'll give my left nut that it's not Eddie. EVH is skinny, skinny, skinny... and just a few months ago. You can't tell me he put on FIFTY pounds in just a few months. No way. Not Eddie.

Some of you people are stupid. It's definitely Ed. He's 53 now, not 23. That's his tattoo and that's the necklace Wolfie gave him some years back.

Yeah, I agree with you guys... he looks great. Man, he was looking so frail and sickly not too long ago. Now he looks healthy and not like he's walking in a fog. God bless him!
