286. Gawd, black people need to quit butching about every dang thing!!!! You dont see white people throwing a fit if Jessica Simpson looks over tan in a proactive comercial.

GET OVER IT ALREADY!

287. I have noticed the more famous Beyonce gets the lighter her skin gets and the blonder she gets. Am I the only one who sees this?

288. Guys!!!! Who really give a damn anyway? There are some real important issues in the world and this is not one... Stop drooling so much over celebrities...!! They are not heroes, they are just making way more money than most of us... And except for their bank account, they are just like all of us...No living God or Godess here, sorry!!

289. well....you know what this picture does look a bit out of the ordinary i am light skinned to but I dont get that light in the winter. All i know is that between the two photos there is a bit of and extreme difference, and if L'Oreal did make this photo lighter purposly then they should be highly ashamed of themselves because they are depicting a false display of her almost as if they are ashamed of her natural complection. Beyonce is a very beautiflul young woman and she does not need anyone to distort her photo just to sale a product.

290. That trick is a sell out anyway. Everything about her is fake. She's getting paid and that's all she cares about.

291. I am black and I don't feel like the picture of Beyonce is a slap in my face at all. Honestly, I consider it a HUGE slap in the face when I see a photo of a white person and they are made to look a "little" more tan than they are in real life. Or, I will do you one better than that, white people lay out for hours during the summer, use self tanning lotions and utilize tanning salons to obtain the beautiful color that I was born with. Your question should be, "When white people tan, is that a slap to blacks?"

293. This is a slap in face to blacks, but it is nothing knew.We all know that black is not considered beauty to whites, so it's no big shocker to me that they want to touch up B's photo about 3 shades lighter. If you look even closer to pic u will notice that her nose is pointier too, so L'oreal what wrong with getting a white person to do it? Basically, Beyonce's star quality good enough to sell your makeup, but not her face. U be the judge.

294. Who cares if Beyonce, the daughter of a white women, wants to lighten up a little. Why is it not a slap in the face of white people when she appears darker? I am a white man with a black wife. Society conciders our two kids black as in all biracial marriges. Where's the slap in the face of the white parents in these relationships? The white people are the most discrimated againts in the country. If the "N" word is so bad, why do so many black actors and rappers say it in their craft? It's offensive to me when I hear the word. Where's the slap in your face? If I sound like a racist, look in the mirror and slap yourself in the face.

295. I am an African American and the hair on my arms turns blonde in summer. The only time I can wear yellow is august and september. I am too washed out the rest of the year.

296. TMZ is where the blame lies with this issue. How many photos of Beyonce does TMZ have? 1000+ and they choose to show just 1 for a comparison with the L'Oreal photo. Get real and stop believing this crap. As a Black woman, I am more offended by the question that TMZ posted.

297. Oh my gosh, this is important news, but then again with a dumbed down narcissistic society, who cares if millions are getting wiped out in Iraq, Afghanisatn. Who cares if you are being raked over the coals and screwed royally by the elitists.
Start weeping that you are not blessed enough to act like a spoiled brat while everyone is focused on your ' skin color'. Be blessed you are not on those torture ships or Gitmo, Abu Ghraib. But hey theres the Olympics, you can get a glimpse of the slaves that make your cheap crap from China. Hope you are ready for the crash, because baby it's here and coming down real fast.

298. She ain't even black, she's mixed, who cares. Only people who think it's a slap to their face are blacks who do not recognize the other side of the picture. Photoshop does a lot to a face, it's just an advertisement. Why make a big deal out of nothing, that's how stupid comments get started.

Posted at 7:59PM on Aug 6th 2008 by Katie

299. Big deal so she looks white. Look at Michael Jacvkson he has been trying to be white for years. And what about Obama he wants to live in the White House. You know the saying once you have had white you know it's right. If she wants to let them make her look white and ruin her chances of welfare and public housing so what.

300. Well to be honest Beyonce looks way better in the "darker" picture, in the washed out one, she looks like all these women around who for some odd reason want to be blonde even when it doesnt suit them.....
However she would get to check out the picture before it was up for press so she had a choice in it Im sure.. and she obviously liked the picture..or there would have been objections believe me...
and anyway they are all photoshopped before we see them....have you seen her with no make up on..?? we ALL look better with some make up and "photoshopped" lol..celebrities too...
thats why they all pitch a fit if they are photographed when they arent "ready"...!!!
