The ad features a severely Photoshopped Beyonce -- almost unrecognizable. So the question ...

The question is ...

61. i think using the word "Blacks" is a slap in the face to African-Americans.

62. This is some B.S.

Beyonce' is a "light-skinned" Black Woman.

I have NEVER seen Beyonce' look as "dark" as the picture in this Article.

So What? She's "light-skinned". What's the BIG DEAL?

Blacks and African Americans come in all different shades, and ALL of our Shades are BEAUTIFUL!!!.

So, why not highlight the "light complexion" of one African American sister? What's the Big Deal???

You folks who are complaining REALLY should GET A LIFE!!!

63. Poor Beyonce, she almost looks as white as her mom. How horrible to be reminded of her mixed ancestry.

64. wow. all of you are doggin Beyonce and Lo'Real. Like, nothing is wrong with the two pictures. i am 14, black and dont see what the problem is. Skin changes and like if you look beyonce up on google, you will see that, that "White-Wash" picture, looks like some of them and then the rest she is a lil darker. Like, the sun DOES have an affect on black people too ya know. And so what if she wears wigs. Does that make you like her less? just because she might have a wig on in a commercial doesnt make you think, "Oh i dont like her anymore. She looks like she is wearing a wig." If so, that is sooo petty. I get teased about my hair all the time. my hair isnt real, i have braids in and like i dont think that people should critiscize other peoples hair. FOR WHAT! At least she has sometime of hair on her head and she looks good. Personally, i dont think she wears a wig, but whatever. If Lo'Real did do the "white-wash" thingy well then whatever to them because they are still making money and at the end of the day, thats all that matters..All of ya'll just cant stand to see a successful black singer who hasnt been on drugs, is an alcoholic, etc.

65. I'm black and I don't see it as a slap in the face, I see it as common American popculture it's not like Beyonce is the only black American whose face was lightend for some add and if to most of America and to the people of L'orieal that makes her more attractive whatever.

68. Beyonce doesn't look pretty in the ad. Not at all.

If they couldn't capture her beauty with just make up then perhaps they should have booked someone else. Having light/white skin doesn't make a woman beautiful. I'm confused by Loreal's actions.

70. Dumb asses! Beyonce` is looking at the color green. If all you are defined by is how black you have to be to be "real", then your as bigoted as any KKK member. It must be really slow for y'all to be looking at a non-issue like this to waste your time on. You are your own worst enemies because you won't tolerate success by any black that doesn't fit into your personal bias'. Sound like there are problems within your own community you need to worry about like gangbangers, drugs, single parents, teens with kids, education and more. Its a long list you can't put of white society.

71. As a woman of color, I am truley offended by this blatent effort to make Beyonce appear to have of a more caucasian look. Not only did they drastically lighten her skin color, but it appears that they also altered her noise appear more pointy.

72. Honestly, I'm not surprised. For those who are saying there are blacks who's skin lighten up, well yeah, that's true. That's true for any given person who may not be around that much sunlight. But come on guys. You're stating the flaws of this idea in your own comments. Access to more sunlight -darkens- skin, but lightens hair. While lack of sun light causes hair to darken and skin to lighten. In the pictures shown, her skin's dark -and- her hair's dark, while the other is her skin and hair lightened. Either she's got some weird issue with her melanin or there's something fishy going on.

73. Not a slap, people fail to realize that Beyonce is a very light skined woman, she not dark skinned and makeup adds to it, I think she looks great. Go B

74. It would be no different that someone with light skin getting a spray tan to look darker - is that a disgrace to blacks? Skin color is irrelevant. Some people want to dye their hair purple. Some people have tattoos covering their entire face. We need to stop considering ourselves different races and different colors, but just different people.

75. What an unsophisticated & weak piece of journalism --- to think people would be so shallow! TMZ try again --- with something a bit more newsworthy! Black Americans come in all shades and hues! Get Real!
