He may have gotten jack for the first season of "Project Runway," but now everyone's favorite mentor, Tim Gunn, is getting some serious haute couture bucks for just showing up to an event.
Sources close to Gunn, who also hosts his own TV show and is Chief Creative Officer for Liz Claiborne, tell us he gets close to $30K for public appearances. Make it work! In contrast, "Hills" star Audrina Patridge nets around $10K to show up to a club and Kim K demands about $25K.
While Tim isn't hosting nights at Les Deux or PURE like those ladies, if you want his design expertise at your next fashion event it's gonna cost you.
A rep for Gunn didn't immediately comment.

Why on earth would anyone pay 10k to see Audrina or worse 25k to see Kim K. I don't get the 25K...lol, why the h*ll is she famous and why would someone pay a huge cover to see her??? To see her do what??? lol, this is so dumb.

I can tell you from experience that Heidi's appearance fee is $7,500 ... and Spencer calls to collect immediately (the ink doesn't have to dry and he's calling) ... what $12 million beach house if they can't miss out on $7,500!?!

Tim Gunn is the best thing to happen to reality TV. He's witty and even across the TV you can tell that the guy has a good heart. And coming from someone who hates reality TV - that is saying something.
Those moron chicks have nothing to them other than MTV whoring them out at every turn because they are afraid that if they give their viewers a chance to think - they'll realize how pathetic MTV has become.

Tim Gunn MAKES that show!! Funny, classy, and just right with his comments on the talent. As for the sluts this article mentions, that's exactly all they are...sluts....I wouldn't even WANT them NEAR my party...let alone give them one CENT to show up...God...you'd have to STERILIZE everything after they'd been there....skanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
