We Played with Beckham Today, What'd You Do?

Next to Knox and Viv Jolie-Pitt, these are some of the luckiest kids in the world.

They got to do what few mere mortals get to -- play a game of soccer with David Beckham on Tuesday.

Although it's not on the top of our list of what we'd like to do with David, we'll take it.

20. jenny g (#7), How arrogant. I noticed the error as well. I also found two errors in your comment. Not all americans are stupid, dear.

21. Jenny G; You're confusing slangs. While it is true that the grammatically correct phrase according to one somewhat outdated form of grammar, it has been recognized for a few centuries now that living languages change. The form, "I couldn't care less" has the same meaning as "I could care less", just as "inflammable" and "flammable" have the same meaning.
English doesn't borrow from other languages. English follows other languages down dark alleys, knocks them down and rummages through their pockets for loose grammar.

Back to the story at hand. Those sure look like Cruise's kids but lots of professional athletes, soccer players, too go out in the community and visit with the kids. Several years ago when my daughter was still playing soccer, the then keeper for the Revolution and one of the defenders came and gave a clinic for her league.

Go Sox
