Clay Aiken's baby mama has popped!

Aiken's mother told local Raleigh, N.C. TV station that the "American Idol" runner-up was now the proud papa of a bouncing baby boy named Parker Foster Aiken.

Aiken's BFF, 50-year-old record producer Jaymes Foster, gave birth at 8:08 AM this morning in an "undisclosed location." TMZ was the first to tell you he had inseminated Foster.

Aiken's mother Faye said the dark-haired Parker weighed in at 6 lbs. 2 oz and was 19" long. She says her son is "smiling from ear-to-ear."

Mom, dad and baby all are doing fine, according to Faye.

Aiken and Foster, who met when Clay appeared on "A.I.," will raise their spawn together.

You ask if Clay is still relevant? Are you kidding? His Baby Mama is David Foster's sister and a record producer in her own right, back up the Brink's truck. Clay will always be in the public consciousness with the Fosters whether you think he's relevant or not, he will always be appearing or recording for the rest of his life.

You should be calling the baby "Gayby" instead of "Claby".

That pic is great.

I know it is no fun tp be decent about this, but Clay Aiken is a wonderful human being, whether he is gay or not. He just had a beautiful child with his best friend, conventionally or not. How horrible that people are so cruel and won't allow this wonderful news be wonderful news. You with the small, miserable lives, that make horrible comments about someone you don't know, don't care to know or don't take the time to no, should just stop. I know it is fun, but it is hurtful and harmful. I am sure that most of you are pretty weird too. I know that because you are reading and watching TMZ. I came here to be a voice of congratulations for a man with much talent, much compassion and much intelligence. That is not something you see much of on this site. Have fun running this person down. He is the least creepy thing in this country. The creepy things are the things that most of you enjoy. Sorry, but it is a wonderful day for Clay and I don't think you can ruin it. He is a Dad and he is proud and happy.

How surprising that TMZ would post a nasty picture and ridicule the birth of a child. Going to start picking on a baby now? I find nothing creepy or weird about this. This baby was planned and wanted. He has TWO parents who will love him. How can having a mother and father who are educated, religious and rich be a bad thing. Congrats to Jaymes and Clay.

Congrats to the parents. Their age difference is not important. Guess it's ok if the guy is 60 and woman is 20, huh? These two people obviously have a special love and respect for one another to want to have a child together. That is not often found in the celebrity world.

Interesting to see that the most readers here are as twisted as TMZ. What a bunch of losers.

I say congratulations to Clay and Jaymes.

Congratulations Clay and James. This is a very lucky baby. People like Clay and James SHOULD reproduce. TMZ staff and many of their lemming commentors SHOULD NOT.

I like the name. Nice and normal for a celeb's kid. Is the arrangement a little strange? Yea, definitely, but Melissa Etheridge did the same thing, so I guess it's not too odd. Live and let live. He seems like he'll be an involved, caring dad.

Congratulations to Clay and Jaymes, and welcome to baby Parker! I wish them well. Created from romantic love or platonic, that baby is a lucky child to be surrounded by the talent pool from whence he comes. I don't see any reason to predict "years of therapy," or to take jabs at a man who has continually demonstrated his good character, integrity & social consciousness. He walks the walk. Clay's given me & his other fans much fun and good (clean) entertainment over the past 5 years, and I hope he continues to do so for many years to come.

Those of you who choose to let tabloid untruths color your perceptions, who don't appreciate a clear, on-key vocal performance, or a wit that isn't derogatory toward others--so sad for you. But, different strokes for different folks. I don't understand the joy taken in bashing and tearing down artists or fans of artists that one doesn't care for, just for their differing tastes. Name-calling and bullying should have been left behind in junior high.

All the best to little Parker Aiken, his parents, and his extended family!

It is odd that he was born on 8/8/08 @ 8:08AM... wonder if this was a natural birth or if it was a c-section & it was scheduled to happen at 8:08AM? More info please! Either way... congratulations Clay & Jaymes!! You will make wonderful parents to your little Parker! And I love the name too!
