Pale Comparison
More on the L'Oréal front ... When Beyonce signed on with L'Oréal in 2001 her career was big -- but not huge. As she became more mainstream, her look in the ads appears to evolve -- into a whiter version of her former self.

33. Beyonce' is a beautiful girl...my little boy is bi-racial. In the summer he gets a "tan" and looks several shades darker than he does in the winter. Also...if I take his picture indoors his skin color looks different. At the Portrait Studio if they use a dark background he looks darker...Lighting can make all the difference in the world. But like I said...he is still beautiful to me...be he pink, mocha, coffee colored, or ebony. I am sure Beyonce's mother (and Jay Z!) feel the same way.

34. LET IT GO! They are not trying to turn her white! She looks orange/yellow...it is just the coloring on the box! Why would they all the sudden change her.....and she is not getting lighter from the pictures. They all look the same but the last one! NO ONE CARES

35. Is this Nina's gem again?
The last picture she has more golden hair hence golden toned skin. When she had her darker hair different light was used - this was simply to photgraph the hair in the best light possible. PLUS who decided to have lighter hair? I highly doubt Loreal held her down and did it without her consent. Aa a matter of fact - Beyonce has been sporting the straight blonde hair on and off for a while - so blame her if you have a slow news day and need something to gripe about.
it seems more that it's been a slow week and you are trying to drum up some "scandel" to get hits. Lame.
And I think we are still all waiting to hear why in the last Nina post - she capitalized "Black" and not "white".... Sounds like she is the racist one to me. You want things to be fair and equal - you better start by checking yourself first you "Proud Black Female" hypocrite.

36. This is silly. Everyone gets airbrushed. The other pictures have a brown tone to match the hair color- the last one (the one you keep harping on) is golden. Her hair is golden as is her skin tone. She doesn't look "white". A white woman could never achieve that effect without looking painted... She looks radiant.

37. Enough is enough TMZ. You obviously don't care about the issue and the stir it's causing. What you care about is the hits to your website. Well, just telling you, I won't be coming back. I came here to read gossip not to be sucked into Ninas race baiting.

38. Her skin tone and hair color complement each other. That's the effect they were going for. Anyone who colors their hair knows that your skin tone should go with the color you choose. If you can't get airbrushed, you change your makeup palette. Beyonce had the benefit airbrush. She looks like a radiant black woman.

39. Could it be the lighting? Color of clothes? Makeup pallet? I know I look whiter in certian light than normal, the flash hates me! Everyone needs to relax, no one really cares that much.

40. I don't like the yellow/orange tone in this picture at all. However, Beyonce is a huge star who knows her business and has full approval over every photo she does in advertisements. THE PHOTO LOOKS THIS WAY BECAUSE THAT'S HOW BEYONCE WANTS IT TO LOOK. THIS TOPIC IS BORING! DIRECT FUTURE QUESTIONS ABOUT IT TO BEYONCE, TMZ.

41. I will still sleep with her.

42. If Beyonce doesn't have a problem with it, why are some (including one of TMZ's female staff members) making such a big deal about it? Get Over It! Beyonce has approval of everything. She gave her approval to be used for that shade of coloring. To effectively get that shade on the box, overall coloring had to be adjusted. What a bunch of hooey. Some people just have to stir up trouble. Those of you that strive in chaos, get a freaking life.

43. I think she just looks more orange...

44. TMZ is trying to create a story that isnt there. let it go. As you can clearly see she is selling a lighter hair color than in the past. That is the difference. Can we move on now??

45. When I see the pic on Loreal box, I see Beyonce. I see a black woman. Whoever is having a "cow" about a hair color box, get a grip!!!! If Beyonce had a prob with the pic on the box, it should have been addressed before it was released. Someone has just seen a financial gain opportunity!!! Can we say extrotion??!!! My advice. . . . don't use "famous type" people & make them sign a release. . . . oops, I bet she did!!!!!
