Pale Comparison

More on the L'Oréal front ... When Beyonce signed on with L'Oréal in 2001 her career was big -- but not huge. As she became more mainstream, her look in the ads appears to evolve -- into a whiter version of her former self.

92. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE!!! PEOPLE ARE SO PARANOID! Has it ever occured to anyone that this is part of their PUBLICITY ploy? Look at what it has done....people react....it's all over....that's the purpose of the advertisers (good or bad) it's still "free" publicity.....Think before you react!!!!

94.
Nonsense.

Racism died years ago. It is over.

NO ONE CARES ANYMORE WHAT COLOR ANYONE IS.

We are past that. Skin color now is treated pretty much like hair color. Barely noticed, if at all. This is just TMZ trying to revive racism for shock value.

To me, its the first time TMZ has looked lame, tired and past its prime. Is this the "jump the shark" moment.

95. She doesn't look white -- she looks yellow. And if she would stop straightening her hair and trying to dye it blonde they wouldn't have to fuss with her coloring to make her look right in photographs.

96. Beyonce is a beauty whether she is B or Vanilla B. Luv how Switchfoot performs her song Crazy in Love. She would make me as crazy as she makes Jon :)

97. How dare you accuse L'Oreal of unintentionally doing to Beyonce, what Michael Jackson has intentionally done to himself.

98. OMG get OVER it already!!! Have you people ever heard of lighting???? It makes things look different, sometimes lighter, sometimes darker. The racial pot is stirred enough, do you guys really need to keep adding more broth?????

99. Wow Nina, didnt have the guts to put your name on this follow up article? This is so pathetic!!!! Are you not smart enough to see that the hair color changed in every photo and the last was strawberry blond!!!! Do Black people naturally have strawberry blond hair? Every time I change my hair color I change my makeup color. Nina get a life you racist bit*h! It is so annoying to come to tmz for entertainment and have be confronted with this ridiculous self effacing crap!!!! If I see another post about your racist personal agenda I'm done with TMZ!!!!

100. I am African American and I don't give a s*****. It's an ad for a product that most people won't pay any attention to when they buy something anyway. All the negative comments are from idiots who troll message boards looking for things to hate about. Get over it or should I say get a life.

101. Geesh...seems like the only people who want to keep going on about this is black people. nobody else cares! why do things always have to get brought into a race subject? enough.

102. Who cares if her skin color is fake! Her hair is fake, what we should be arguing here is that they put a black woman with a hair weave, and claim she colors it with this product, how pathetic is that. Her hair is FAKE!!!!

103. I am an african american woman and I didn't take offense to this photo. It's clear that SOMETHING happened to the picture because just changing the lighting or whatever other excuse is being used would not turn her from a brown skinned african amercan woman to an almost white female. But if Beyonce is cool with it then who are we to down her. She signed the contract and has a job to do. Loreal has a product to sell and they obviously are not targeting the dark skinned african americans with this ad. Move on. I'm sure Beyonce has (right to the bank to cash the check) and so has Loreal..

104. Who cares about beyonce? She can't sing, she's fat and getting fatter. Even her husband doesn't want to admit he is married to her. After her first baby, she will blow up like Aretha without the talent. And, all you fans fell for the marketing! LMAO at you.
