Who is the Man -- Dead at 65

Musician Isaac Hayes -- who wrote the theme song for "Shaft" -- died this afternoon in a Memphis hospital.

According to WMC, a Shelby County sheriff's deputy responded to call from Hayes' wife after she found him on the floor near a treadmill inside their home.

Hayes was taken to Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, and was pronounced dead at 2:08 PM. Cops are investigating, but do not believe foul play was a factor.

110. Weird! Eerie! He, too, was in the movie "Soul Men" with Bernie Mac and Sam Jackson! I read a blog by somebody who made the comment: "Bet Samuel L. Jackson is at the doctor as we are posting!", and it was meant as a joke, but it really wouldn't suprise me at all! I loved Isaac's music, but just as a human being, he seemed to truly be humble, and he gave back by supporting charities dear to his heart! He certainly did NOT look to be 65 to me at all! RIP ISAAC! You will be missed emensely!
