McMahon - "I Will Gladly Pay You Tuesday ..."

It's a new week, and a new lawsuit against Ed McMahon.

This time, Westmoore Lending says it loaned McMahon and his wife $250,000 back in July of 2006. According to the lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, the McMahon's defaulted in February 2007. Then in April '07, to show good faith, the McMahons paid Westmoore $5,000 in return for an extension on paying the loan.

The suit claims, the loan became fully due on August 2, 2007, but Westmoore didn't get the loot.

Westmoore wants $250,000 plus interest and attorney's fees.

Ed's rep had no comment.

16. I guess what Ed and his wife needs to do is auction off the stuff in the house and start paying off what they owe.

17. Isn't it about time for Ed McMahon to join the Cadaver Club already. C'mon Ed, lean into the pitch and take one for the team, huh. I got you in the deadpool, help me out.

18. Kelli you are sooooooooooo funny!! You GO girl!! As for Ed. I bet many of us have found ourselves in similar situations at one time or another. Everyone needs to just chill. STUFF HAPPENS. I too question though, why the Mrs. hasn't gotten her butt out to work to do her share of reparations to the problems at hand. I am quite sure that with her connections she needn't be afraid she will end up with a lowly minimum wage gig the way so many single moms do every day. If she were to let their friends know she would appreciate something in the way of a cosmetics commercial,. or some kind of infomercial someone would reach out with a lending hand. But it seems all she is interested in would be a handout full of money.. Too proud to go to work Mrs. McMahon? This is the root of all your problems.

19. Some of you may not realize it but the BK laws have changd.

You can't just file for bankruptcy and walk away. NOPE.

20. Ed--just because you are elderly does not give you a free pass on paying your bills.....
Sounds like you married a trophy wife who has enjoyed spending all of your money... I guess she had to get something
out of the deal...
If you don't pay your bills, then you will get evicted..just like many others have...many hard-working people with children who have honestly tried to pay their bills.. you come across as an arrogant old geezer that thinks the rules don't apply to
him...well, hate to break it to you Eddie, but put up or shut up (and move out!)

Been there done that! The person with the response as long as the Bill of Rights...good advice! Got settlement, bought place, good job, nice savings, wife works. Lucky her boobs were big did not need implants. Life is good, no mansion but life in the OC is not bad in a track home. Still get to surf and what more could you ask for! Oh Ya I earned my money the old fashion way ARMY! Left a lot of sweat and blood around the world, no mercy for the stupid!

22. Eddie will be alright. He's got a couple more mansions in the Fresno foothills. I'll be seeing him soon in Fresno at the golf course. He's alright.

23. I guess the vultures are still hovering over this guy? It's sad seeing this guy go through all of this.

24. This goes to show why the little people pay for this. These banks just give and give to these type of people because of their name. Here's $250,000.00. We don't need to know why you need it. The same went for Micheal Jackson. Millions and millions was given to this guy and he defaults.

If I and about 95% of the people on this site would go for a $5,000.00 loan we would get the big run around. We would be asked what it was for, where you work, what was your first dogs name, etc, etc, etc.

26. I think Jay said he would help Ed out.... in this case taking a helping hand may be a good, humbling move. I hate seeing sad old guys.

27. IUsually I read tmz for a laugh. But this is no laghimng matter. Not by a long shot.t's sad how all these people with all of these bills are swooping down on Ed all at the same time like a swarm of insects.Because it's the in thing to do. Take a swing at the Ed McMahon pinata. Will get each of them some publicity. And all of these mean spirited, unforgiving, callous posts are depressing to read.Kicking an 85 year old man when he's down.Yeah he screwed up but why rub it in? Nasty, nasty, nasty.Where's tthe compassion?

I personally am rooting for Mr. McMahon to get through all this.I like the guy. Loved him on Carson and loved him every year helping Jerry out on the labor day telethon. He's always struck me as a good man and a loyal friend. Someone who's always there for his friends when they needed him. Hope he manages to pay off those people and that his neck injury makes a full recovery.

28. Here's a plan. Ed's house is worth something like 6 mil, but no one will buy it because supposedly there is too much chaos coming from the weaved wonder, Miss Brittany Spears', house. Why doesn't he lower the price by half so it will sell quickly? I'm sure that would still bring in enough money to pay off his debts, Then his loving wife can go out and get a job to support his wrinkly a$$ and they can live a modest, within-their-means lifestyle. Problems solved. I'll see you at the debate bitches.

29. Sad. But it goes to show that anyone can mismanage their money, no matter HOW much they make. I fear the only way out will be bankruptcy....and then we'll see just how long his (current) wife stays around after THAT! I think she's alot of the problem(s) he's had up 'til now in the way of finances.

30. Oh Trump! Why not pay for all middle class kids to go to college, instead you pay for a spendthrift to continue his standard of living.
