20. Like Elizabeth said, Regis was just trying to be nice and how disappointing that the "papper" had to disrespect him like he did. Regis is a kind, generous person with an incredible history and appreciation for the entertainment industry. I agree that celebrities need to take the good with the bad in terms of fame, but making fun of someone like Regis when he was just trying to be nice is uncalled for.

23. Is that pap braindead? He insults Regis by saying it was only his Mom who watched Regis on TV. You can see that Regis got offended and walked away at that point.

These guys do that sort of thing for a living, you would think they would know what to say by now.

25. "Thank you," to all of those who extoled such kindness and such vociferous support for my dad. It is heartening for me to know that he has brought joy and a few laughs to so many folks for so long. Others chose to offer that he is a "no talent waste of time," a "loser" (ooh, good one!), that his Lifetime Achievement Award means he is going to die soon. One, "can't wait until he stops doing the show," another, obviously a professional of some sort, offered my Dad is "old and senile," then comes the absolute stab in my heart, "Join the Cadaver Club." I love my Dad. He will be heartbroken when he leaves the show-style that he, not Gelman, created. I will be heartbroken for him. And when he has left this earth, apparently not soon enough for some... I don't know , man. Hate thinking about it. This is America, just change the channel and get past yourself.
