18. Apparently the Spanish BBall team has a history of this sort of thing. In 2004 they also made "monkey chant" noises at the black players on the English football team. They got fined that time by the group that governs euro football...

So maybe they are racist - though my vote still leans more towards them being complete morons.

27. Spain isn't politically-correct conscious by any means, but it doesnt mean they are trying to hurt people. They don't have the history of the diverse culture and immigration that the US does and therefore aren't aware that these gestures may anger many people.

29. If this isn't racist, then what is? White people get all upset when they are made fun of, but it's ok to make fun of minorities. I grew up with a**holes making fun of my asian eyes as a kid, and I can tell you that this if racist. When you've never been made fun of for your ethnic features, you don't know how it feels when people do stupid insensitive stuff like this. Is it not racist since you don't hear them saying words like "chink?"
