33. 22. Katiesmom - People cannot say that just because many lands of the Bible are in Africa that those people of the Bible were of ebony color or ivory color. Even within my own family, there are 5 different shades of skin, and I am even LOSING the color of MY skin!!!! There's my defective gene.

Anyway, IF we go by how the Israelites look TODAY, then Jesus had olive skin, tight curly hair, and looked nothing like what I see when I look at how various ethnic groups paint Jesus.

Your ignorance is expected, as usual. Nobody knows the color of Jesus' skin. Various ethnic groups? WTF does that mean? Anyone non-european is ethnic? Does that include Jesus too? How many different versions of the bible are out there? Who's version is the true version? Get over yourself, the world is a rainbow of color and knowledge! And people like you don't have a color in that beautiful rainbow!

I don't feel that the information is negative or positve; It just is...There are all kind of genetic mutations...

Black people have been viewed in a negative light for being black, nose, lips, butt, hair, etc...So, when i come across someone who says Whoopi's hair is nasty..It is offensive since my hair looks like hers...But black people have dealt with all this belittling type stuff for centurys; So, if he can understand, that he shouldn't put down his ancesters...I mean blacks are also the ancestors of whites...Nothing negative or postive about it...It just is...
As for Jesus,no none of us really know...but we do know that there have been many invasions since that time; I am no historian but i am certain that country was invaded; And those people are not the orignials of that country...
As far as the bible, Jesus seems to have looked like me too...between the hair like WOOL and feet that looked like they had been burned in a furnance...And that fact that Nazarites law was to wear LOCKS...It is just logical for him to be a black man...But I could be very wrong...

41. To #36---The joke is on you...Climate didn't change you...Scientist know this but for the sake of white ego they keep it on the hush.. Black people are still having albino babies; Those blacks with the gene...Anyway, you lack of melanin is not all that beneficial in cold climates...Black draws heat so having black skin would have been a plus in the cold climates as well as the warm...Note the polar bears have black skin because it is beneficial..
So, don't lol at me; laugh at yourself for being ignorant...

I don't know how a picture of Whoopi walking down the street smoking a cigarette ended up with so many nasty comments.I am white and I love Whoopi's hair, it really is her trademark and so is the way she dresses.I think one of Whoopi's best qualities is she remains true to herself and is not a follower of everybody else when it comes to fashion or her opinion on things.Having said that,I do notice she is quite condescending to some of the other hosts on the View, there is a bit of a "superior" attitude there, but all in all I like her.
