No, I read what you said...YOU SAID, SHE TURNED YOU AGAINST BLACK PEOPLE....so, are you admitting to being a racist...Okay, so she is angry with her family, any fool can see why..BUT HER FAMILY DOESNT REPRESENT BLACK PEOPLE...So, did you at anytime tell her that? DId you try to teach to deal with individuals? Or did you encourage her to think that all blacks are like her family...
on the other note, children can be cruel...white and black...many children are picked on for whatever reasons; so, are we all to hold on to it and judge the rest of the world by that experience...
as far as her wanting an education, she should want and education..There are many blacks who have and or getting education...Most black parents are not drug addicts and etc...But what does all this have to do with Whoopi's hair being called nasty?You see, those or separate issues...When you bring in black hair and call hers nasty, that is showing how you really feel about people not like you...So, again, you are small minded and so is your daughter, if she is against blacks because of her family....

64. Hello, Unfortunalty you guys have the wrong designer of the shoes. They are made by Melissa. I know because we are the distributors for them here in NY/ USA and she actually purchased them at our showroom on the west side on Aug. 5th. along with 13 othwer pairs. She is a great fan of the shoes.

70. Now that we know Whoopi on the View it is a different Whoopi than we know from Sister Act and Ghost. She is very honest, she lives her life her way, she is not racist at all, and it's a very different venue for her. She is used to saying exactly what she wants, sometimes you can see her measuring her words but she has lightened up a little bit. She is back on Broadway, multi talented, and a good fit for daytime t.v. There is nobody else like her and it's great not to have the same cookie cutter personality on a talk show. I would like to see her change her style though, Christian Siriano could make her over and she would look great, you don't have to wear 6 inch heels to look good, she could maintain her own style.

In your attempt to belittle ME, it is obvious that you did not carefully read my post. The ethnic groups comment is a blanket term covering every race or ethnicity around the globe, not just those native to one land. In my vocation, and in my spiritual walk, I have learned to be as inclusive as possible. As far as Bibles are concerned, there are at least 114 different versions. My favorites are the NKJV, the Message Bible, and a few others.

There is much speculation of how the peoples of the Bible looked. Did you read my comment, partially in upper-case, that NO ONE KNOWS how they looked? Did you also read the upper-case "IF" I placed in my comment about Jesus' appearance? Obviously, you did not.

I'm curious about your backgroud, SacT. How is it that you would belittle me and yet use the "rainbow" analogy? Do you truly believe that all peoples make up a rainbow of colors? Do you believe that we are ALL humankind, living on this earth together? Do you believe that harmony with each other and with oneself is possible so that the rainbow can truly glisten?

Just curious to know. It would be an awesome thing to know that I am not the only one who believes in diversity and that we are all part of the rainbow.

I do apologize for the sidebar, but I feel like I had to respond to a few other posters and some of the comments there.

Personally, I think Whoopi ROCKS!!!!! And, I think if she wants to wear overalls and a t-shirt or a flour sack, I think she should be able to do so! She is one of my faves! Love the shoes! Now, if she would wear rainbow clogs, that would be even "cooler"!!!
