Hayden's Mom -- Seriously Shady

Hayden Panettiere's mom Lesley tried hiding yesterday under a pair of her best white "Risky Business" sunglasses. The question: What is she hiding?

Lesley was allegedly clocked on the left cheek by her husband during a drunken spat Monday morning. Law enforcement tells us her cheek was bruised.

We're told the case will be referred to the D.A., but after hubby Alan was released from the pokey, we got video of the two of them walking the dog. If Lesley has a change of heart, good luck getting a conviction.

16. #13, it is painfully obvious that you are making this comment to get people angry (its easy to tell because you forgot to use improper grammar, you only mispelled words to make yourself appear to be uneducated trash). what is the point of that? go rattle someone elses cage.

they both oviously need help for alcoholism, and he for anger management as well. it is wrong to hit people. we learn that as toddlers. its too bad people forget.

18. I find it appalling all the negative comments being scattered around about Hayden's mother Lesley. I had the privilege of attending Stephens College with Lesley "Muffy" Vogel, and sharing the same dorm hall, Lela Rainey Woods in Columbia, Missouri for four years. I found her to be a lovely person and a dedicated and talented student. It was not surprising that she went on to achieve fame because it seemed so important to her. In this country there is so much animosity towards Celebrity moms and women who are not young that it is disheartening. I say LEAVE MUFFY ALONE!

20. Marianne, It's lovely that you're trying to defend your friend, but I think it's probably pointless trying to do so in this sort of environment. The majority of people who post on these sort of websites aren't receptive to logical arguments, or calls for reason. They simply want to post knee-jerk negative comments, about people of whom they have absolutely no knowledge. I believe you when you say Leslie is lovely - her daughter seems like a sweetheart too, and the truth is, the opinions of a few small mided people on an anonymous internet website will not translate to anything meaningful in real life. Have you noticed the poor level of English (both spelling, and grammar) in some of these posts? Particularly the ones that throw around words like "whore/ white trash" etc? Trust me, these people are not worth worrying about. And now, I've completely set myself up for a barrage of negative responses, telling me I'm a sanctimonious bitch...I can live with that though. I just thought I should reassure you, Marianne, that not everyone in the world has this sort of mentality. But kudos to you for standing up for your roomie!
