The buzz is ... John Mayer dumped Jen Aniston. But how to know? Look closely at the photo of Jen at a friend's house in Bev Hills taken yesterday ... see the two dogs on the grassy knoll? They could unlock the mystery.

We're hearing the dogs, especially Norman (the little one) was a John hater, and Jen loves that pooch.

20. Why do you people have to bash her? The fact that she doesn't fit the typical "Hollywood Beauty" standard is what makes her so appealing. She's cute as hell and seems like a genuinely nice person. No choice between John or Norman. A dog will love you unconditionally. John Mayer is an idiot who thinks his sh-- doesn't stink.

27. Damn, I was hoping this frog would marry the boy so everyone could get off the Jen pity party parade. Am so tired of the Pitt/Jolie/Aniston triangle and all the crazy posters. Brad had gone on to a life he obviously enjoys, People can do that when marriages fail. The man wasn't happy, now it seems he is. Great. This pushing 40 year old girl seems to never be happy. That is her problem. Let's live in the now.

28. John was just a fling, too young and irresponsible for a real relationship. I can't blame Jennifer for being slow to commit again. Not only did she end up with a cheater the first time, but she's been bombed with insults since they split. She deserves better.
