12. My daughter was at the tour and said that this is absolutely false. She attended every autograph signing and said that lil Archie's dad was not even accessible. Before the concert he kept the crowd entertained while waiting for the top 10 to emerge from wherever they were and would be walking through entertained for almost 4 hours. At the end of that 4 hours a concert staff member came out and told the crowd to disperse...the stars would not be walking through. My daughter and her friend were right at the gate wearing David Archuleta t-shirts and before they left he approached them and told them to stay put...his son would be coming through and he would sign a few autographs and sure enough he made sure my daughter and her friend both got pictures and autographs from David A.

TMZ needs to check their sources...this could not be more fabricated.

14. David Archuleta's Dad is nice! My friend got a high five from him at an autograph signing and David Archuleta signed like 500 autographs while David Cook didn't even come out.

15. Poor little David, all that talent and sweetness and his career is going nowhere until he gets out from under the shadow of that Mormon patriarch. His father cost him that contest. David Cook is a huge talent, no question, but David A. may well have stood a better chance of winning if his father had not interfered so much. As soon as I found out there were from Utah I wasn't surprised to find out they were Mormon. That religion insists on patriarchal households with large families, with the kids being raised with the "religion" which in turn adds more members. That's how that phony church has a such a big following. It's just another case of some megalomaniac insisting that God intended for him to have followers. Men like Jeff Archuleta fit right in to that mentality, ruling their households with an iron fist. David may have fans (myself included) and popularity but when he is old enough to break free from that control freak his career will soar. I wish him all the best, he has limitless potential.
