Romo Calls BS -- Underwood's a Phoney

Carrie Underwood, Tony RomoTony Romo calls plays. He doesn't call Carrie Underwood.

Sources close to the Cowboys QB tell TMZ Tony "is not calling Carrie" -- despite a recent interview she gave implying that she's ducking Romo's calls.

In fact, Tony's been spending all sorts of "quality time" with on-again-off-again-back-on-again girlfriend Jessica Simpson -- we even got the proof when they left dinner together in Malibu over the weekend.

Unfortunately for Cowboys fans, it doesn't look like your team jinx is going anywhere.

32. I believe Carrie over Tony or Jessica any day. Carrie is still kinda new to being in the spotlight and so she answers the questions truthfully...unlike almost everyone else whos "famous" I went to the Cowboys training camp last week and Tony was so full of himself! He was the only one who came out wiht his helmet already on! he looks the Herman Munster!

39. SO wait a minute, automatically Carrie is telling the truth and Tony is the liar? why?

First, why would Tony need to call Carrie, if as Carrie has said herself they weren't ever "seriously" dating anyway? It's not like they had some hot and heavy romance going on and she dumped him. Second, Tony seems very happy with Jessica so why would be mess that up? Third, what is with Carrie's habit of talking about her personal life to the media?

Someone said Carrie is naive because she's new to the business but she was a journalisim major in college, she knows how the media works. and IF she's an intelligent as her supporters claim she should know when to shut her mouth.

It seems whenever Carrie wants attention she says something or does something like this. She made a point of telling the world that she and Chace broke up over text and back when she was supposedly with Tony she denied it claiming they were just friends who smooch (ie friends with benefits). Now she comes out AGAIN months after the relationship with Chace is over and a full year after things supposedly ended with Tony and she's STILL milking those cows for attention.

Carrie has a well earned rep in Nashville for being a b*tch and I seriously think this quote about Tony was intentionally a dig at Jessica. Carrie is a vindictive, spiteful, wench because even IF Tony were calling her, why would she put that in print for everyone to read knowing full well he's in a relationship with someone else?
