76. Jessica simpson is a new country artist. Carrie Fans there is no point going on and on and on about how many million albums she has sold more than Jessica. We know this. Who knows if Jessica will be successful in Country -maybe she won't -that is not the point. It is silly to throw that up everytime some one makes a good point against Carrie. All of a sudden logical argument goes out the window and it's 'Oh Jessica is untalented ...joe simpson, this, she can't sing....' YAWN..

Carrie acted distastefully insinuating that someone else's boyfriend was blowing up her phone- fact.

It doesn't matter if it was true or not.

She would have know the storm her comments would make given how the magazines have handled the matter in the past-suggesting there were at war over Tony and there is a love triangle.

Carrie fans just can't fess up and admit- okay she probably shouldnt have said that and maybe her motives were questionable. They want to believe the whole 'country bompkin sweetheart'.

Anyway I wouldn't trust that girl as far as I could throw her and i'm sure if Tony was calling her before, he sure as hell wont be now. If that is really what she wanted (i doubt) -Maybe Carrie you could have told him directly and not announce it to wthe world....

77. I agree with Angelina. Carrie is so obvious with her envy that its ridiculous. Carrie might have the better career but she obviously doesnt have the man that she wants. Why else would she make a catty comment to stir up mess in the tabloids and problems in Jessica's & Tony's relationship.

TEAM JESSICA...BTW, I like Jessica's voice. Remember the song, "I Think I'm in Love" or "Now that I'm With You"?

The one you call a Country Bumpkin is the hottest female artist in Country Music. She's paving the way for Jessica, as a female, to make it big in Country Music. Too many of the ladies are getting over looked.

You say Tony sure won't be calling her now. You act like that is a bad thing.

Its out in the open now that the comment was dated so if Jessica continues to say Carrie is classless and not cool, then we will see who is the one being catty.

Carrie doesn't have an ounce of catty in her she's too full of sucess there's no room for it.

1. Carrie gave this interview back in May '08, when Tony most likely WAS calling her. As of right now, it's a nonissue so I don't see what everyone's getting all worked up for.

2. I'm pretty sure Carrie doesn't have a jealous bone in her body, Jessica can't even compare to her. If she wanted to still be with Tony, she would be. Lastly, she didn't just bring Tony up out of the blue...clearly the interviewer asked her about him.

81. My suggestion is to read the full/whole Allure article as people are making a big deal out of nothing. They are just taking bits and pieces of the article to create drama when there is none. In the full context of things, the article is nothing more than Carrie talking about what it's like to be thrown into fame and about her past relationships. This interview was done 3 months ago. There is no bashing going on. People just want drama when there is none.

83. You can easily read the scans of the full Allure article over at carriefans. Carrie is nothing but a class act and stands up for other females in country music. Just read the article and you can see that.

Carrie has WAY too much class to ever lie or disparage anyone. the Jessica simpson camp is stirring up trouble to bash carrie and to get publicity for JEssica's pathetic "country" album coming out in a few weeks. Don't you find the timing of Jessica's attack on Carrie rather convenient? first the stupid tshirt stunt insulting Carrie-- now this. Jessica-- grow up and leave Carrie alone! the allure article was months ago-- Carrie said Tony called her as a FRIEND ONLY-- and she said that months ago when he actually WAS calling her! Carrie never said tony calls her now-- this is an old interview... but the magazine didn't come out until this week. Jessica is annoying and needs to go back to pop -- country does not want or need her bs and drama! 86. Hey, Tony has played lots of women as fools and broken their hearts there are only a few youv'e heard about. He feeds em lines like their relationship is headed somewhere. like they are doing great, and then out of the blue Goodbye. He's done it to alot of girls and obviously it doesn't really bother him. I think thats what you call a player. Mainly in my opinion he wanted
to keep Carrie around for long term marrying material and just have fun with Jessica until the fun wore off or he was ready to settle down. Carrie has the values of a wonderful wife and mother. Jessica would be like having Pam Anderson as your mom.

88. The interview given by "Allure" magazine was given on May 09, 2008. Tony and Jessica split during that time and Tony was calling Carrie and had been calling her trying to get back. Carrie was done with him and not interested. Tony is fibbing and covering his rear end. Typical of a man, who is really a "PLAYER"!!! Jessica is "CLASSLESS" in her comments for Carrie. Jessica already got the "boos" in her debut performance in one Country Festival. Jessica can not even sell 4,000 tickets even it is a BUY ONE TAKE ONE FREE in her concert in Indiana State Fair. Carrie sold 12,000 tickets and WAS PRAISED by the critics with her performance at Indiana State Fair Concert. Go ahead, Jessica, put some more mud on yourself!!!

89. Tony dated Carrie almost a year and a half ago. stick a fork in it. You Jessica people just don't get it. Carrie is not bitter, bitchy, scorned, and whatever else you people keep saying. She is trying to live her happy successful life and keeps getting drug into the media triangle as trying to get him back. She is saying I don't pick up because he has a girlfriend and I want to stay away from them and the media triangle. Carrie is not at fault for Romo trying to chat her up. You don't even have a

If you want to comment on something go over and pull up Jessicas latests youtubes and you will see her at Monterey, WI, and Indy where she forgets the words to her songs at each one. You are not going to go far with no rehearsals. People are paying money for a preformance and she can't remember the lyrics. Also you'll see there a sickening video of her nip slips and it is a long video and just sick.
