17. My ex had been in a truck that flipped and two of his fingers got
messed up also in that accident. His hand got stuck between the roof
of the truck and the interstate when an 18 wheeler hit them and
flipped it and the truck when slidding down the ih-10. Had surgery
(1 finger broke 20 places), stayed in hospital 4 days, AND REHAB. He
to this day cant move one of his fingers it is stuck in the same
place due to all the pins in it. VERYYYY excrucationg pain. I went
when my ex did that and seen it first hand. All i have to say is poor
poor shia. I know the pain he has experienced, seen it first hand.
Hope you get better and am REALLY looking forward to the new
transformers. Watching the first one right now. GET WELL SOON!!!

18. I've actually been wondering why I haven't seen more of Shia on TMZ. I say quit wasting your footage on people like Tori Spelling & Audreana when you have someone like Shia to be following.

19. He should be in JAIL on DUI charges. If it was me or you driving drunk, we would go to JAIL. Him getting away scott free teaches him nothing, he will do it again until either he kills himself, or someone else. Lucky for me I just moved out of LA.

20. You people are idiots. Shia has not got off!

The police are waiting for the toxicology report from the hospital before they will proceed with the DUI charge. Meaning it has not been proven yet that he was drinking at all that night.. and if he was drinking..IF he was even over the legal limit.

If he is under the legal limit they will drop the charges against him since he would then be innocent.

If he is over the legal limit it would be a first offense misdemeanor DUI which only carries about 4000 dollars in fines, 48 hours in jail, drivers license suspended for 6 to 8 months (with provisional temp license available) and traffic school/community service.

You know how I found this out? I actually bothered to read a news article regarding Shia's accident that wasn't posted on TMZ or Perez and I googled California DUI law.. Its not difficult to get informed people. I highly recommend it. It prevents you from looking like stupid aholes!

21. Innocent until proven guilty....and IF (big IF) proven guilty, there'll be no need to drag him through the street for a public stoning. My how people are so righteous and judgemental. Very sick and sad.

And yesterday they said it looked like he was flipping off a car. From a few stills I've seen, it looks like he was proudly showing off his animal crackers to a neighbor.

PS: Kinda creepy that they're following him around while he's at home. (or in his own neighborhood)...yowza!

shia is a really good actor.
please. im sure that most of you all have been drunk before or at least have had a drink.
he had a hard time growing up and he has admitted that.
he doesnt need losers like you telling him what his problems are.
it was a mistake and just because he was in several movies, people are critiquing him and telling him what how stupid he is.
hes also human. and every human makes a mistake, give him some slack.
