Gwen Stefani's Water Still Hasn't Broken

They say the 17th month of pregnancy can be tough.

Gwen Stefani stopped by the hospital for a checkup with hunkband Gavin Rossdale on Thursday. Don't let the stripes fool you ... she really is that big.

The 38-year-old mom-to-be is due any nanosecond.

17. People - pregnancy is 40 weeks = 10 months. That is how your due date is calcuated and once you hit 40 weeks and 1 day, you are considered overdue. If you dn't understand how it's calculated, look it up. Your pregnancy "count" is started the day you started the period before the period you missed i.e. 2 weeks before you actually concieve.
AND I think she is beautiful and doesn't look that big at all.

18. Well, this is the stupidest story I've seen on here in a while.

Leave the poor woman alone, it's her 2nd baby and I'm sure she's tired of waiting for it to come out too.

Oh and sarah, you genius, women have 9 month pregnancies. Not 10. Idiot. Read a book.

20. Here's a quote from the Mao Clinic website. I assume they know more about pregnancy than some of the "experts" posting here. You will notice that a pregnancy lasts about nine months despite the way due dates are calculated.

Week 1: Getting ready
It may seem strange, but you're not actually pregnant the first week or two of the time allotted to your pregnancy. Yes, you read that correctly!

Conception typically occurs about two weeks after your period begins. To calculate your due date, your health care provider will count ahead 40 weeks from the start of your last period. This means your period is counted as part of your pregnancy — even though you weren't pregnant at the time.

23. People. Please listen to the folks telling you that pregnancy is 10 months. It REALLY IS. As mentioned, it's calculated from the last day of your period prior to conception. I had my first baby one day early -- at 39 weeks and 6 days. Please learn something about anything other than how to insult people while they're pregnant and/or not living up to your high standards of beauty. Perhaps you could learn to spell! Perhaps you could read a real, live book! I know, the words are big and there are a lot of pages but you'll help prevent Alzheimer's if you do.
Now, step away from your bag of Doritos and Mountain Dew and head on out to your local bookstore. Great things are in store for you there!

24. Getaclue is right. In fact, I am pregnant - 40 weeks and 1 day today to be exact. If you aren't having any problems, most OB's will let you go to 42 weeks - which is 10 mos. 2 weeks! Every pregnancy book I have and have read always calculates pregnancy on a 40 week scale so it is 10 mos. It's always said it's 9 mos. because when women find out they are pregnant, they are usually about 4 weeks along already which puts their due date approx. 9 mos. from when they find out they're expecting.
Regardless, I don't care if she's 8, 9, 10 mos. pregnant kudos to her for not being like some of these Hollywood moms who are afraid of showing what a REAL pregnant woman should look like!!

25. Oh, and shame on TMZ for being so stupid. You're what's wrong with women's self image issues now. She's a normal, healthy looking, full term pregnant woman.,

26. Gee getaclue...if you are so smart, can't you come up with something a little more original than the old "Dorito" line? So intelligent!

27. What a cheap shot making fun of a pregnant woman. Gwen is a beautiful woman and a great mom. People who do this are lacking in manners and shallow. Class up TMZ!

28. Wow, a real live pregnant woman. TMZ, you all actually are buying into the lies the "thin" pregnant celebrities tell.

29. I just had a baby 8 months ago, I had a planned c section t 39 weeks,
in average a term pregnancy is 40 weeks, usually by 42 weeks the will
induce, I am thinking that is what they will do to Gwen. She looks
like she is having a little girl. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing
but, that last month is hell!! For the guy that said a pregnant woman
is unbearable the last month, you can try this get 35 lbs of sand and
tape it to your stomach, drink a gallon of water inan hour and see
how you will have to go pee every 5 minutes, put a fur coat in 100
plus degree wedding, and have someone kick every part of your back
and stomach, oh not to mention not being able to sleep for 2 hours
straight for the last 6 weeks. Then you tell me if you will be in a
great mood!!!
