Tom Cruise Allows Alien Invasion of Space

16. Seriously, people need to stop ragging on Tom Cruise. He has ALWAYS been generous with his fans. He EASILY could have three bodyguards surrounding him and blocking every shot and fan access but he doesn't do that. When I see him in pics and on video, I see a man who is happy and healthy with a beautiful family and a great life. I'm not a Scientologist and I wouldn't pretend to understand their beliefs but I've always enjoyed TC's acting and I don't care about his belief in Scientology. If he chooses to talk about it, then that's his business too. He's passionate and honest about his beliefs and wants to share himself with the world, so good for him. People shouldn't hate on others because of what they believe in - that's just prejudice.

And William is right. I don't know about Clooney and Pitt (although it's said that Depp is pretty good to his fans) but some of these other "stars" are really pathetic. I saw it for myself recently when Owen Wilson was filming in Philadelphia. He actually turned his face to the wall between shots so no-one would look at him and when he couldn't get back to his trailer, he hid in a basement restaurant's staircase on Broad and Walnut Streets to avoid the fans and the crew. On another night of filming, Wilson pulled his hoodie around his face and refused to even LOOK OVER at the crowd (some of them children with their parents who had been waiting for him FOR HOURS) yet alone sign autographs or take pictures.

Wilson is a depressed, miserable, druggie and it shows in his attitude toward his fans.

Tom Cruise is drug-free, happy and pleasant and he treats his fans with respect, never forgetting where he came from and who helped him to get there.

I'd take Tom any day.

Other celebs can take a lesson from Tom Cruise. He's a class act and he's going to be around for a long time.
