Election in TMZ's Hands - Everyone Stay Calm

John McCainJohn McCain is a thief, shamelessly stealing from the TMZ playbook to get elected. This according to a little thing called TIME magazine.

Columnist James Poniewozik ridicules McCain for "running a TMZ campaign," saying McCain's tactics are akin to TMZ publishing "DUI write-ups and nipple slips." Bum rap, we think. Click here for nip slips and mugshot galleries.

Poniewozik claims the ad showing Obama with a zillion flash bulbs going off is a cheap shot: "Like a snarky blog, the McCain campaign argues that Mr. Thinks He's All That is overexposed." The dude says McCain's ad "implies that Obama is an empty suit, a D lister," framing him like TMZ and others "frame celebrities like [Britney] Spears by appealing to a mix of fascination and resentment."

For the record, we have not come to bury Britney, we have come to praise her.

48. McCain supporters give lots of reasons not to support Obama but can find few reasons to
support McCain other than he is a hero. Maybe they like some of the Obama supporters
are supporting their candidate just because, and because they hate the other guy.

They have also been freeing people that lived under a dictator that allowed his sons to murder and rape at will. HOW is that WINNING!! The DICTATOR and his SONS are DEAD. To put things in prospective how many soldiers gave their lives for YOU in ONE DAY at Normandy. 57. To all the people posting about how Obama is too inexperienced to lead this country. How much experience did George W. Bush have when he became president? He hadn't served in the House or Senate. He was the Governor of Texas and that job was bought and paid for by his dad. But according to Texans, he did okay. He got on-the-job training with the presidency. And, according to the right-wingers, he's an excellent president. Off the subject, Condoleeza Rice had no experience to be the National Security Adviser -- before coming to Washington, she was the provost (or something) at Stanford and had aspirations to be the NFL Commissioner. And she had no experience at being Secretary of State.

To the posters commenting on not having a black man elected as president of the U.S. We are supposed to be one of the most progressive nations in the world; however, India (Indira Gandhi), Pakistan (Benazir Bhutto), the Phillipines (Corazon Aquino) South Africa (Nelson Mandela) Ireland (Mary Robinson and Mary McAleese) and even Germany (Angela Merkel), have all elected minorities to lead them. I don't remember there being a Doomsday when they were elected. Why are you so afraid of changing the face of the presidency? Times are changing, folks, and if you don't want to be left behind, like it or not, you will have to change with them. If the U.S. is destined to have a black man lead, so be it. If not, Obama, then, someone else.

P.S. It won't be long before there will be a Latino candidate for president. In fact, there was at least one, Bill Richardson of New Mexico. Latinos are the fastest growing minority and they have a right to have their voices heard too.

59. McCain "McBush" is a liar, cheater, adulterer, blood-thirsty war-monger who will do and say ANYTHING to get elected.

If elected, he will more than likely get to appoint as many as 3 justices to the Supreme Court, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will never end, the environment will suffer, and taxes will go throuogh the roof.

Every person who casts a vote for McCain had better shut up, stop whining and complaining if he wins in November. What damage Bush wasn't able to create during his presidency, McCain will surely see to it.
