Rosanne should get back on her Meds. She spewed the same sort of verbal diarhia when she was trying to bully people into voting for the two faced Hilary Clinton. Why should Ms. Jolie reveal Her Choice if she's not ready?
I assume intelligent Americans will vote for the person that they feel will do the most good for the country whether it's the foreign policy or educating and providing better living conditions for all Americans. It can't simply about being a Democratic or a Republican (that's the Party). What about the person?
What do they believe in; can they see America for all it's flaws but love the country and the people enough to make it better. America needs a President that will stand up and point out the elephant in the room, not another person eager to put on blinders. So far I am impress with Barak, he may be a bit naive about the "cutthroat business" that seems to affect Washington, but maybe because he hasn't been corrupted by the politics he will be in office enough to make the changes America needs. Hopefully the ignorance/racism that permeates America will see pass the color of his skin, and consider the "content of his character".

As for Rosanne's rant about Ms. Jolie's children and her partner; she should shut the eff up. Perhaps Ms.Barr should chase after the celebrities who are just counting their millions, or the ones who jump on and off the charity bandwagon when they need a douse of publicity.
AJ along with her partner BP are worth millions, if they give a 3rd of there income to worthy causes it's more than the rest of us.
To the person you commented on the size and expense of the house in France the Jolie-Pitts are living in. They already give away more than most, should they live in a hut to prove how much they care. If they give a 3rd of their income to charity, what they have left over is theirs to do as they please.

I can't imagine that any of you would downsize relative to the downsizing you expect of the Jolie-Pitts. Have you or anyone you know given a 3rd of their annual income to charity? It's all relative,

52. I can't stand Roseanne, but she has a point about this Jolie chick.
If it weren't for US expansion politics, that Jolie would not have been able to buy her little Pax, Maddox and Zahara from the poor people nations.
Developped countries do not need to sell their orphans to foreign white tourist, developped countries will find a home within the country, where they can grow up and live within the culture of their biological parents.
Except ofcourse for the US, the US sell their little black babies and children, to European adoption parents, because the nice WASP does not want a black baby, they rather go to China to buy 'm self their little doll, or to Africa for that matter.
And in the case of Jolie, she was a single parent when she adopted Zahara (the name is derived from Sahara which is the desert and Zahra, which is Arabic for fair/light colored) and Zahara's native country does not allow adoption by a single parents unless you pay 'm off with some serious dough!

The majority of respondents on this particular item, need to take a good look at the neo-con politics of their beloved US of A, to see that their beloved politicians did not only kill their economy and made their mighty dollar basically worthless on the world market, no, they also brought misery and war into this century.

Great choice, McCain! (NOT!), Goodness who wants a 72 yr old with botox and some serious plastic surgery for a president? Every McCain voter, needs to have his head checked.

If I were going to go on a rant, it would probably have more to do with why we have so many drug addicted and/or crack babies in our own country and why are so many children in the social services system dying and falling through the cracks?

I have a tremendous amount of sympathy for the starving and abused children of Africa. But it has been that way for generation upon generation. You can feed some of them, but you cannot change the murderous political regimes and civil unrest without bloodshed and military intervention.

America can throw money at it, but money and aid (if it even gets to the starving) is not going to change the country they live in, their murderous military or their bloodthirsty militant groups. We send food and modern medicines and vaccines to keep them alive long enough for their political leaders or militants to hack them with machetes and burn their villages.

It is not a perfect world, Roseanne. And yes, the children are the first to suffer. If you have the "answer", then you should change your name to Messiah and we'll all jump on your sled and ride it to Candy Land.

55. Adoption laws in the US restrict the adoption of children to individuals with stability issues. Ms. Jolie admitted to past drug use and self mutilation. It is obvious with these disclosures during interviews with media outlets she has emotional issues that would could place her as a high risk placement. In addition, it appears her children have a less than stable environment as they seem to travel consistantly and not have a fixed home base. I wonder of a home assessment was done prior to the adoption of Pax..after all there should have been a period of defining a stable home environment for this child before the decision was made to expand their family.

58. People can vote for whoever they want to vote for. Its a personal decision and no ones business. Not everyone is going to vote for Obama and that doesn't make them a bad person or a racist. America has done a lot for other countries over the years. More than any other country. We can only do so much, people have to help themselves. Start taking responsibility of your selves and then this world would be a better place. Too many people are so quick to judge others and depend on others to save them.
