Fat Lady Still Trapped Inside 70 Pound Boy

He weighs as much as Pavarotti's calf muscle (RIP), but the little kid who blew our minds (and our eardrums) with his freakish operatic ability is back -- and this time he's droppin' an entire verse!

17. Thanks for making me look up Bantam and improve my vocabulary

18. I agree with Belle...sounds like he is manipulating his pharyngeal structures (vocal cords and surrounding muscles/cartilage) to generate this voice. It's vocal misuse/abuse and can lead to tissue damage/vocal nodules. Makes my throat hurt!

20. He's really not all that good. He needs training and then maybe something can be made of him. But, at this point, as an opera singer? It simply sounds like a satire. Sorry to be a player hater but he really sucks.

21. Give me a break. The kid only "sang" 3 notes! I could do that! Singing isn't even the right term for it. He's just making noise that a lot of other kids could make, too.

22. I agree with other posters that the kid isn't impressive...yet. My daughter is a first soprano opera singer, so I've heard my share! But with training, who knows? He doesn't have a bad voice. I hope he gets training. I'd love to see more African-American kids in the arts.

Now I have to look up 'bantam'...

23. Gee, the people from TMZ make enough money that if they cared and are impressed by the kid, they could foot the bill for some vocal lessons. The kid needs training badly. He could probably actually be good with training, as he would learn how to use that voice rather than just do 3-4 notes. He needs to learn how to use his natural voice instead of ruining it.

24. The next Pavarotti? Doubt it. That was NOT singing on any level. Reminded me of when my son tries to talk like a super hero.

25. Thank yous go out to Belle, Coolgirl2008 and especially you "Anyone can make those noises" - all hit the nail on the head.

26. Is this some type of joke? I hope no one seriously thinks this kid has any talent. He sounds more like a tone-deaf, limited-note bullfrog.

27. Opera is usually song by "fat spaghetti eatin I-talians...this kid is pretty good..the ones here who deny it are just haters...
I guess if the kid was white you'd be giving him all kinds of praise!!!

28. TMZ stick to what you know, and that's trashy celebrity gossip.
appraising singing ability is obviously not one of your strong suits.
