G'N'R Drummer Debuts Cry-nese Democracy

November rain came three months early, as Guns 'N' Roses drummer Steven Adler broke down in court this AM after pleading "Not guilty" to drug charges.

Adler -- who told us he's already used up his scratch from "Sober Living" to pay for rehab and lawyers -- was busted last month for allegedly being high as a kite.

The judge said Adler must stay in the Pasadena Recovery Center -- and that clearly pissed Adler off.

So after court, our guy told Adler the BEST THING EVER -- he hoped Steven's sobriety would come before Chinese Democracy.

16. I like to lay the smackdown on really stupid, media whoring, braindead celebrities just as much as the next person. However, I'm going to break with the crowd & suggest we leave this guy alone. Steven Adler suffered a cocaine induced stroke (yes, self induced, but a stroke none-the-less) in the mid to late 90's, and it's left him with permanent facial paralysis & a partial verbal slur. He's struggled with drug addiction for decades, and appears to be losing the battle. Because of his health, he can't do the one thing he truly enjoys doing, playing music. Unlike stupid millionaire celebrities who have the resources to help themselves, but still try to play the "woe is poor little ol' me" card, this guy is in serious physical & financial shape. Let's cut him some slack & keep our fingers crossed that he finds his way.

18. Steven should stop being upset that he has to spend more time in formal recovery, and start hitting that 12-step program as hard as he used to hit the snare. He is truly lucky to be alive. He suffered a drug-induced stroke several years ago that has left him unable to drum anymore, while also negatively affecting his speech and his walk. The sooner he gets a serious foundation in sobriety the sooner his life will start looking up. Go for it Steven !!

20. THE REASON WHY HES CRYING IS BECAUSE HES AN ADDICT AND PROBABLY SOBER IN THAT PIC. IF YOUR NOT AN ADDICT I WOULD SHUT UP BECAUSE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT.

BEING AN ADDICT YOU GO THROUGH A LOT DIFFERENT CHANGES AND THATS WHAT HES GOING THROUGH.
