According to Snopes.com, Princeton was requested to put a 'restriction' on distribution of any copies of the thesis of Michelle Obama (a/k/a/ Michelle laVaughn Robinson) saying it could not be made available until November 5 , 2008 but when it was published on a political website they decided they would lift the restriction.

23. 17. Michelle Obama is not a racist!! That's like saying Don Imus is not a racist. People need to stop hiding ehind "untruths" and keep it real. If you don't like her, that's fine, but to say she's a racist is ridiculous. Whatever your reason is because she's black or you may think she's a racist, or you're worried she may become the first black lady is cowardly. She's a very intelligent woman, who did a study on blacks at Princeton, and those were her findings. What's racist about that? Princeton at that time was a predominately white university, with very few blacks, at a time when blacks were becoming more educated and thus successful. Of course they came together as a group, isn't this what any other race would do? Isn't this what the whites did, were the groups or activities for both black & whites, did the whites include or invite the blacks to participate? I'm sure that was not the case. Nonetheless, there are more blacks attending Princeton today, as well as others, but the ghosts are still there. So yes, blacks do have to work harder and become more educated and involved in order to prove themselves in some cases. Some have to conform to different attitudes and behaviors to do this, they can & will. We should be proud of the progress blacks have made. But there are always those whites and blacks who hate to see this kind of success that blacks have and continue to make. No doubt, blacks have had to fight there way, with much resistance, but have not given up hope and become a noted member of society, such as Michelle Obama. Those who think "racist", should look in a mirror!

28. I liked Obama at one point. But I discovered that he is as sleazy as every other politician... only worse.
He's nothing but an arrogant racist and Socialist. Sorry, but I don't think I want to see the country's constitiution and structure CHANGE so we have trillions more in entitlement programs that encourage deadbeats...
