The 69-year-old resurfaced at a Hollywood book signing recently, looking healthy.
Farrell joined "M*A*S*H" in it's fourth season.
During a trip to Central America in the '80s, Mike was "shanghaied into assisting with the surgery" of a political prisoner.

And #11, the passion is there, but it is LOSER not LOOSER.
I'm a liberal feminist and even I think this guy's an uberdouche.
Hawkeyes first guess was Belevedre Johosephat
he was incorrect.
BJ = named after his parents. Bea and Jay Hunnycut.
I don't really care about his extremist politics, but the man did help ruin MASH, he was never as good (or good looking) as Wayne Rogers. I won't watch an episode with BJ Honeycut or Charles Winchester!
The dude is richer than God and married to Shelley Fabares who was in all sorts of good shows back in the day.
Re: #12 - Red states are generally less sophisticated than the blue states. The truth hurts #12! If you can come up with something besides some Evangelical bable about STDs to prove your point it would be much appreciated. Did you know that most people on welfare come from dem' ol' red states? Now who is taking accountability for those people?
"tree hugging ultra liberal Hillary loving douche"
This country needs more trees and fewer bushes
DAMN WHAT SEXY BLUE EUES THIS MAN HAS....IS'NT HE MARRIED TO SHELL FABRES?
I never could buy into MASH because the hair styles did not match the Korean War era.
I 2nd (or 3rd, 4th) the douche comparison. He's a whining, uninformed socialist that thinks the Government can actually solve things. They can't even run a DMV or fix a road-- much less handle health care. The guy he replaced on MASH is a genuine thinker: stock investor, economics whiz and very charitable-- without having cameras around to record it for NPR. Wayne Rogers; decent guy and not a socialist.
#19, Farrell's politics are not extreme. He's just liberal, which to some people is extreme in itself. They're fools.
And Mike didn't ruin M*A*S*H*. Alan Alda did. As the seasons progressed, they became preachy, obnoxious, sanctimonious, pedantic, and pretentious. Alda was, for all purposes, in charge of the show after the 4th season.
