Cocktail Waitress Dim Sum and Then Some

The club where Lindsay Lohan walked off with a fur coat is being accused of a whitewash.

An Asian-American waitress has sued 1OAK, claiming she was canned because a co-owner only wanted white girls serving drinks. And, Cecilia Shim claims, her downfall came when owner Scott Sartiano (who has dated Jamie Lynn Sigler and Ashley Olsen) had a brainstorm, allegedly telling the manager, "What's the point of having girls if we can't f*** them?"

What we're thinking....if the owner really felt this way, why did he hire an Asian chick in the first place?

A lawyer for the club says Shim and other employees were fired because they sucked at what they did.

16. I get tired of this constant racism thing. It takes away from people who are honestly victims of discrimination when it's used as an excuse. You know - I got fired because I'm White/Asian/Black/short/tall/fat/ugly/old/young/female/male/gay, and so on. Any color, religion, or whatever can be a lousy employee. Or a great one.

#1. There is much more to this story then what is printed on tmz. People are entitled to their opinions, but you will be eating your words when all of the facts come out.

#2. RACE SHOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE WHEN HIRING EMPLOYEES. TMZ you are wrong for that sentence. It was racist, and VERY stupid.

#3. Since when does the OWNER of a club hire the help? Be serious people, that's not how it works. At least not in NYC.

#4. Cecilia will make money WHEREVER she is hired, her skills are not the issue. The satement made by Scott Sartiano's lawyer was baseless and tacky. Money is not an issue. IT IS DESCRIMINATION!!!

#5. No white people were fired. it was a handful of MINORITIES ONLY.

#6. The sexual harrasment thing happens more often than you would think, especially in these atmospheres. THIS IS NOT THE ONLY ISSUE.

#7. Cecilia is one of the sweetest, most down to earth people one would ever have the pleasure of meeting. People are so quick to judge, but they need to take a look at their damn selfs first.

22. She was not hired by Sartiano in the first place that would make absolutely no sense. Obviously she was hired by someone else. I'm sure he's not the only one that does the hiring but it sure seems like he's the one that decides who goes.

23. this is total bs...first of all scott doesnt have a sleazy bone in his body...secondly Tara (who is Asian) still works there..the chick clearly is pissed she got fired, probably for being lazy....stop hating on Scott...he is a great guy, a good catch and a fair boss...

24. For the jerk that wrote the insert about 1oak....you should really do your homework before you start writing comments that are A. offensive and B. totally incorrect. If you did do your homework you would have found out that Scott never hired her. Next time YOU should do YOUR JOB and not be such a ignorant f*ck hole!!!!
