16. while it may not be racist, three years is absurd! when idiots like khloe kardashian or nicole richie get a matter of minutes for possibly killing someone and Da Brat gets THREE YEARS!! for almost killing someone just isn't right.

i am not a fan of Da Brat. I am a conservative white girl. Yet, something is not right about this punishment.

This is a major assualt in that the girl has been permantly scarred- granted she might be able to hide the scar depends where it is-- plastic surgery may help who knows... SO Da Brat got what she earned Have fun in prison it will help with ur street credit. And anyone who watched the Surreal life knows that Da Brat deosnt use fists she likes to use bottles- remmeber the episode with Chynas boyfriend-

25. I think the sentence served the cause of justice instead of the cause of racism. TMZ has to stop being so sensitive about issues pertaining to race or sexual orientation because every other article by you guys is either about a "racist" or "homophobe." 26. People don't hear what is said.... people do not read what is written. The vote did not ask if this was a just sentence, it asked if it was a racist sentence. PLEASE THINK WHEN YOU RESPOND TO THIS STUFF!!! The question was not "Did she deserve the sentence?" The question was, "Is it a racist sentence?" Two entirely different things.
I personally think she deserved the sentence. I also think it is a racist sentence. White people.... even D List celebrities, tend to get more lenient punishments in this country. White people are getting away with all kinds of crimes they get caught for, more often than blacks and other minorities. So fair yes..... racist yes as well.
