Lets Get This Party Started
Phelps Scores Gold in Tongue Tennis, Too

After getting the diss from a fellow swimmer and a model, looks like Michael Phelps may have found somebody to love him –- hot Aussie gold medal swimmer Stephanie Rice.

Phelps was spotted, reports the New York Post, swappin' spit with Stephanie Rice, during a "celebratory bash" outside the Olympic Village. Rice had been with fellow Aussie Eamon Sullivan for a long time – and just split with him recently. "All the swimmers are talking about it," says one source.

Phelps elicited this priceless reaction from Amanda Beard, when she was asked about dating Mikey: "Eww, that's nasty."

Chace -- Suge Made Me Brown the Trou

Chace Crawford knows what's good for him.

He told Ryan Seacrest yesterday on KIIS-FM he was a valet parker and would jack the occasional piece of gum from guests' glove compartments. One guy he didn't dare do that to –- Suge Knight. The Death Row chief showed up, says Chace, and he "got really scared. I think I made someone else" move the car.

Chace says he took the job after he dropped out of Pepperdine.

Olympic Chief to Bolt -– Cool It!

Usain Bolt might be faster than any person on Earth -– but he's getting the smackdown from an Olympic big for his post-race dancing.

IOC chairman Jacques Rogge is telling Bolt to simmer the eff down after the Jamaican did all kinds of dancing and gesticulating after his 200 meter victory in Beijing. "I think he should show more respect, shake hands, give a tap on the shoulder to the other [runners]," said Rogge.

Bolt set new world records in the 100 and 200 meter dashes.

Party Favors: Gwen and Gav Give New Baby a Tough Start ... Donald Scraping Barrel for "Apprentice" Wannabees

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale had their second kid, and as wonderful news as that is, their name is a definite head-scratcher: Zuma Nesta Rock. ... Donald Trump has signed up Khloe Kardashian for the next iteration of "Celebrity Apprentice," giving new meaning to the word "Celebrity" – and "Apprentice."

16. Bolt did congratulate all the other spinters in the race. He has done something that other bravado sprinters have never done and that is joke and want to be friends with the other sprinters! He broke a world record for Christ sakes he has every right to celebrate that with a silly dance. It made the other sprinters and everyone in the place smile, so I don't see what's wrong with that. And to all the haters out there who think that talent must be synthetically enhanced, it's a fast track, Everyone who has run on it have gone beyond their PB. Don't hate, celebrate.

17. Listen, if Bolt wants to rejoice his winnings by break dancing then he can! He just WON so who cares how he celebrates, because he deserves it! I mean I will admit that he is a little full of himself but once again, he should be! So everybody needs to back off and let him do and feel the way he wants, don’t be mad because he’s from Jamaica and he blew everyone out of the water during the race!

18. Amanda Beard was just joking about Phelps... she's been in a relationship with another guy for some time, Michael knows it... they're buds... you have to listen to the recording.

19. Why are all you all haters??? Just because the Americans sucked at the Olympics, you have to find reasons, excuses to bring down the Jamaicans! Bolt has been running fast times all year. The Jamaicans proved and will prove that they are for real! As for Bolt's dancing, showboating, he is a 22 year old on the biggest stage in the world. Let him dance! He just broke two world records and won two gold medals. Leave him alone and let him celebrate how he (and many Jamaicans) celebrate!

22. IOC chairman Jacques Rogge should be the one to simmer the eff down. Bolt not only won but broke the record he deserves to celebrate and be proud.

24. Bolt has a great personality, he's fun and very warm to the fans. He certainly has the right to boast after his performance.

25. Some comments are simply ignorant. Lauryn Williams has stated someone used 'voo-doo' dolls on her team. Instead of accepting responsibility for failure -yes she was the very person also dropped the baton at the 2004 Olympic games. Why is there such scrutiny whenever a non-American has won. Get off the superiority complex and say simple words like "congratulations."

Now the IOC president Rogge has chimed. Frankly, Rogge ought to apologize to the Jamaican people as he simply lacked the understanding of Jamaicans in a celebratory mood - they are creative, entertainers NOT showboaters. Before trying to sully 22-yr Bolt , Rogge should have had a meeting with Bolt to hear his view. NBC's Ato Boldon misspoke about Bolt as well. I quote from the article "Curry Goat, Bora and Boldon" in the Jamaican Observer "Boldon backed down to admit that he did not know Usain that well and that he had misread his celebration."

The IOC president had time and 'strength' for Bolt but said NOTHING about that Swedish wrestler who threw away his bronze medal. Was their a 'patting' of his competitors on their back? Was that respectable Olympic behavior? Bolt was not showboating. For that you only need to recall Maurice Greene (who was known to offensively stick his tongue out in a very unsportsmanlike fashion). 2004 Athens - Shawn Crawford&Justin Gatlin for having a conversation 25m before the race ended, Why I say that's showboating. Carl Lewis who was just Mr. Show Boater himself. Even in Wallace Spearmon's semifinal race, he stuck his nasty, blue-colored tongue out in an effort to intimidate perhaps. Whatever it was - it was offensive and disrespectful.

With BALCO out of the way, Caribbean athletes are now on a better playing field. Jamaica is an island that has put reggae music on the map. Bolt combined several aspects of being Jamaican. He danced the latest "Nuh Linga" aka do not linger as Jamaican music echoed throughout the Bird's Nest. Jamaican athletes worked hard for every thing and wish 'haters' will stop making negative and disparaging comments for a team that has earned success the right way - with home-grown natural talent, blood, sweat and tears.

Their success could be attributed to foods they eat (boiled green bananas, yellow yam and dasheen to name a few) but more specifically because Jamaica's Boys & Girls Championships (for high schoolers) is a phenomenal athletic program long known to International college coaches who are ever-present to recruit. Have you ever attended the Penn Relays in Philly? Jamaican high school athletes dominate time and time again. Check it out. BTW, Donovan Bailey is Jamaican who represented Canadian. Linford Christie - Jamaican who ran for the U.K. Lennox Miller (American Inga Miller's dad) - Jamaican. Likewise, 400m Sanya Richards.

To date, Bolt has said nothing to the Haters; he simply put everything on the track for his work to speak for itself. So far Ato Boldon ate his words, I also look forward to the IOC president and Bob Costas doing the same.

28. GET IT RIGHT TMZ. THAT PICTURE IS NOT USAIN BOLT. ARE YOU SAYING ALL JAMICIANS LOOK ALIKE?

29. Nesta was Bob Marley's middle name. And Gwen was into the ska music scene which originated with the Rastafarianism movement. So im thinking the middle name is a nod to the king of reggae

30. First Kingston. Now Zuma Nesta Rossdale. The Stefani Rossdale Family has set a very curious pattern in baby naming....I predict that their progeny will have a lot of trouble in airports. I further predict that Baby #3 will be named Ganjah Mon Rossdale (or Ganjah Monay Rossdale if a girl). Should they adopt children, I suspect the names Cannibis, Hemp, Weed and MaryJane will be mashed on the poor little ones....

Ah those kooky celebrities and their funky baby names. Boredom must be worse for them than it is for we mere peons and nobodies.....Well at least they didn't name the kid Crunk.
