Malaysia: Avril Not as Sexy as We Thought

After canning Avril Lavigne's August 29 concert because the singer was "too sexy" -- officials in Kuala Lumpur are now saying she's free to be as unsexy as she can possibly be.

The Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister Datuk Mohd Shafie Apdal (whew) told the Malaysian National News they will "monitor the concert to ensure that the performances do not clash with the Malaysian culture and values."

Wonder if it's okay to spit on people over there...

46. It has nothing to do with the fact she's Canadian. She's a little brat, pure and simple. The best we can hope is that she doesn't have kids for a very long time until she grows up. Sadly, as much as I hate to admit it, when she isn't hopping around on stage like a little punkster wannabe she actually has a pretty good voice. Just listen to her sing a normal ballad or any song that's not dressed up with her ridiculous antics and she sounds good, well at least she sounds better than expected. Any little pig who would spit at people deserves all the criticism she gets.

Malaysia can't stand the fact that they can't rip off or BOOTLEG live
performances so they are censoring her performance to "turn off" fans and kill ticket sales. Malaysia has no problem ripping off and boot-legging Avrils or anyones music - hard core porn and everything else, packaging and selling it world wide. Malaysia like the rest of the world is so used to letting America do all the creative inspirational work in: film MUSIC and entertainment , medical R&D, agricultural R&D , technology R&D , and then ripping off the hundreds of billions of U.S. GNP (gross national product) that America invested.

Malaysia should just be honest and say: "WHEN MALAYSIA CAN MAKE A
LIVE HUMAN BOOTLEG AVRIL LAVIGNE ----KNOCK OFF---- AND EXPORT IT FOR LIVE
BOOTLEG PEFORMANCES THEN MALAYSIAN POLICY WILL CHANGE.

Till then Malaysi's GNP(gross national product) checks in but doesn't
check out.
