You would think Ricky Martin's twins could fetch a pile of cash from the mags, since they're blowing all their money these days on babies who all look the same.
Seems like it's not the case with Mr. Loca, and there's an interesting reason. According to the New York Daily News, the mags want back story and Ricky's apparently unwilling to open up about why the whole surrogate thing.
46. To expand further on #44's comment - which is bang on the money, I might add - but just because Ricky isn't in the mainstream anymore does not mean he's unpopular. His last tour ended last October (around the time these babies would have been conceived by the math if they were born Aug8 - the last show of the tour was October 14 so give or take a couple of weeks) and the shows were nearly all sold out. He still fills arenas all over North America and the world over. I understand that he's not everyone's taste (because a lot of people go with what's popular today, not yesterday) but he's still got it and will never lose it. And good for him for keeping his children out of the media. It's about time a celeb did just that.

48. As I have heard the story, Ricky is a very romantic gentleman. He believes in the power of love between two people. I seriously doubt it was as "sterile" as whacking off into a jar. He is much more classy than that. I know beyond a doubt that Ricky made sure the act would be a lasting memory. Which it should be for every individual. Gay or Straight. PERIOD.

Number 49, what are you suggesting? That he saved his sperm after sex or something? I don't get what you are implying. Also, I hope you aren't suggesting the twins were made the old fashioned way when you said "Ricky made sure the act would be a lasting memory" because that doesn't make sense. He used an anonymous donor for the eggs and had them implanted into another woman, supposedly his cousin. So what do you mean by a lasting memory? There was no intercourse invloved, which means he had to find another way to get the sperm out.
