Obama Assassination Plot?

A Denver TV station is reporting authorities may have foiled an assassination plot against Barack Obama, and there's talk the suspects may be members of a white supremacy group.

KUSA-TV claims three men are in custody after a routine traffic stop in Aurora (near Denver) turned up two rifles, high-powered scopes, ammo and meth. The man in the car led authorities to a hotel where another suspect jumped out of a fourth floor window in an attempt to escape.

A third guy was busted at another hotel but the info on him is sketchy.

The arrests went down yesterday. The TV station says sources said "Two of the men had tattoos and jewelry popular with white supremacists."

The mugshot inset in the photo is of one of the suspects, Tharin Gartrell.

52. welll , i allready switched parties to vote for mc cain ... obama just dosen't have the expirence to run the USA ... i don't have the money to buy a burka... mc cain has fought for this country and was a POW and has been in the goverment for many years... obama has nothing....

i am glad nothing happened to him , i would worry about his children if this happened. i believe he is a nice person , but that dosen't make him presidental material...

obama is just a "mr hollywood" and i really don't htink he will win... thank goddness..

55. Wow an attempt on someone running for presidency. like it hasnt happened before, or that it'll never happen again. Theirs always going to be someone that doesnt like someone else for whatever reason.

Pfftt they was probably going to go shoot some critter and shove it's innards and a huge alien suit in a freezer then claim the aliens have landed.

60. You can't change people's racist believe. We've had what many are calling "Black Presidents" mainly because their true heritage has been verified. But racism will live on for ever. It's sad to say but the one thing you'll never see is a Woman, Black man or Jew as President. Even though we had a mental retard for 8 years. If you think your vote counts, you're insane. The government and their supporters put who they want in office. Do you remember how Bush got in? If Obama does become the 21st Century MLK, I'm also leaving this country.
