Obama Assassination Plot?

A Denver TV station is reporting authorities may have foiled an assassination plot against Barack Obama, and there's talk the suspects may be members of a white supremacy group.

KUSA-TV claims three men are in custody after a routine traffic stop in Aurora (near Denver) turned up two rifles, high-powered scopes, ammo and meth. The man in the car led authorities to a hotel where another suspect jumped out of a fourth floor window in an attempt to escape.

A third guy was busted at another hotel but the info on him is sketchy.

The arrests went down yesterday. The TV station says sources said "Two of the men had tattoos and jewelry popular with white supremacists."

The mugshot inset in the photo is of one of the suspects, Tharin Gartrell.

97. This isn't surprising but no less sad. What these white supremacists don't get is that it won't be much better if McCain gets office either! What a waste of bullets! They think if they kill Obama, they will keep the "purity" of the white race. Newsflash! Its already tainted as is all races are on some level!

99. i lived in america for 11 years, but with everything that is coming down in usa, i decided to move back to europe, it was very hard decision for me to make, i loved united states and the opportunities given, however in my age of 28, i could not stand and witness everything that has been happening there lately and now assacination of mr. obama?
Looks like hell is going to break loose and i pray for everything ending up with happy ending and safe election of the next president

104. could the timing be any better? If you stopped everyone in my city, you would find 6 out of 10 carry weapons (city just did a study). Most wear jewlery and have tattoos. Me thinks this is a lot to do about nothing, national news could care less about the incident.

105. I am not surprised. Racism is alive and well and may be living in your backyard. Barak Obama is a fine, articulate, extremely intelligent man and a true leader. Even though I was a big fan for Hillary, my allegiance is now 100% behind Barak. Too bad the alleged attempted mnurderers will be in jail when the election rolls around. I'm willing to bet they're not even registered to vote. They're too busy wallowing in their hatred. God bless Barak. I wish him well and sincerely pray that we will be the recipients of his goodness.
