Charlize Theron -- Monster in Denver

The point of the Democratic Convention -- to put the Dem's message out to America -- was totally lost on Charlize Theron who arrived at the Denver Airport in attack mode.

Charlize went nuts on our cameraman, who asked her about her support of Barack Obama. She would be the only person in Denver -- far as we know -- who apparently views the Convention as a private affair, peons not invited.

It's possible she's in town for a film festival, but still, she's a vocal Barack supporter and we're guessin' she knows the Convention's in town.

Holey Stars!

The stars in Hollywood will go to any lengths to stand out from the competition. And sometimes that includes drilling holes in their faces.

Liukin's Publicist -- The Real Nasty-a

Just because Team USA gymnast Nastia Liukin scored gold in the all-around event doesn't mean her publicist needs to be an all-around b*tch!

The ice queen wouldn't let her elastic client stop to sign even one autograph outside Beso last night, with her publicist shutting down everyone who got close.

Liukin should probably take a lesson from her Beijing roomie, Shawn Johnson, who was relentless with the John Hancocks outside Letterman.

Obama Look-alike -- The Ears Have It

Either we just missed out an incredible exclusive interview with the possible future president -- or this guy we caught at the Denver airport just in time for the DNC has one helluva future as a Barack Obama impersonator.

16. I think Charlize, like most celebrities, is tired of being hounded by cameras and "rude" people. She didn't want to be bothered. Why can't you people understand that. I don't blame her a bit. It's nothing more than harassment. Infringing on her privacy when she asked you to go away, IS rude. Your tv show is as stupid as your stories. You make something out of nothing. Leave these people alone.

17. My question is, how many vote blind and how many vote stupid? Personally, I vote for stupid.

18. The minute someone says "I just want to AXE you some questions" I'd also ask if he was stupid.

19. I used to respect AOL, but you've become 'tabloid'. Shame on you for trying to capture our attention with headlines that are grossly overstated. Mz. Theron was in no way 'nuts' nor out of control. In fact, she seemed cool and collected, just not giving TLZ what they wanted. So get out of her face, and go shoot someone who is a media-whore, who lives for your 'in-your-face' style of journalism, and begs the paparazzi for attention. The only reason I clicked on your caption is because I couldn't believe Charlize Theron would act the way you said. I greatly respect this actress and when she acted nothing like what you said she did, it made me realize I would never read any of your hyped articles again. You just lost a fan, and my respect for Theron has grown. I was foolish once, but not twice. Shame on you, TLZ, and AOL for promoting this crap.

20. Who the hell is Phoebe Price? She's some arrogant bitch. Made me sick.

21. You reporters are up on the extreme, you guys go through all sorts of 'disrespectful acts' just to get your complete story, and it is so sad any reaction by the celebrity, be it positive or negative, makes a story. You guys should know your limits, and avoid overstepping your bounds. How would anyone of you feel if you where walking down the street, having important thoughts in your head, and someone comes to poke a camera in your face? Be sincere!

22. Hilarious. Creating a NON story. She did nothing!! And you STALKED her after she obviously was minding her own business. Your camera man needs to learn manners AND grammar. Does TMZ hire anyone these days to stalk people ? What a pathetic attempt to get a story. Ms. Theron was correct in trying to ignore you.

23. Take a picture and step away. That's not good enough now. No pictures but video tape them and ask them questions. Was she there to give you an interview??? No, so the stalkerazzi should leave these people alone.

24. She like obama is an idiot and can't stand being confronted neither have a true answer for anything.

25. I work on filming locations and although there are some respectful photographers who quietly take photos at a distance, many abuse their first amendment rights. They are rude, abusive and in many cases commit crimes in pursuit of THEIR money. This story is a perfect example of why this has gotten so out of hand. They pay thousands of dollars for the pictures and create a story the story around them. As long as people pay to see under some young stars dress or what they look like through the windows of their homes, the low lifes will continue to swarm like roaches around a two week old twinkie.

26. Ugh! TMZ is a useless piece of crap!

27. Where is the part in which Charlize Theron goes crazy? Please show us that part because otherwise it goes to show how pathetic you are at pretending you have a scandal when you dont.

Posted at 5:04PM on Aug 26th 2008 by peter

28. Where did the 'crazyiness' happen?
What makes you think that just because you want to pry into someone else's business, they have to open the door for you to do so?
It is you and others like you that have dragged us down to the mediocrity we are becoming. This was nothing more than a brazen ploy to get people to your truly banal site.
It certainly did nothing to add to any intelligent discussion and created an even greater reason for someone who is usually in the limelight to ignore you and the other bottom-feeders who insist that they are really part of the medea but are nothing more than wanna-be's.

29. Did the cameraman say he wanted to AX Charlize? I wouldn't be happy if a stranger came up to me and told me he wanted to AX me.

30. The sad part is you people actually consider yourselves journalists. Maybe you are in the snese that you took a course (if that), but the fact is those of you who try to make a story out of nothing are just not employable by a respectable company because you have no professionalism. Flat out lying is not something real journalism is about. FYI, I don't visit these sites often so don't take any comfort in the fact that I was at least here to post. Your industry is sad....really.
