Dr. Dre's Son Andre -- Dead at 20

Dr. Dre's son, Andre Young, Jr., was found dead over the weekend.

You may have heard reports Dr. Dre's son Andre Jr. didn't come home until 5:30 AM the day he died. Not true.

A source tells us that Andre, Jr. was home by 12:30 AM, and in bed shortly thereafter. He was found by his mother, Jenita Porter, sometime after 10:00 AM that morning, unresponsive.

A rep for the rapper tells us, "Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young, Jr."

47. did anyone stop to think that Dr. Dre may have had more then one son???? you people are saying that this is not his son in the pic and he is a rapper that goes by a different name, that is his son Curtis from a completely different mother.
The young man that died is named Andre.
RIP young man.

48. My prayers go out to Dre and his entire family. Losing a child has to be devastating no matter what the cause. To all the rest of you idiots on here posting assanine comments and remarks about who cares and typical gangster rap stuff, shame on you!!!! Not the place or time. If you have nothing positive or uplifting to say, keep it to yourself. A family lost a child. God forbid it should happen to you. Karma is a bitch and it usually comes back harder than you give it so remember that when you are making stupid remarks and comments. Dre and family, may God be with you and keep you....

51. Brian, I agree with you. I, too, am white. I'm not a fan of any rap and I don't like the lifestyle they encourage but I'm a mother and I can't imagine how much it would hurt if I lost my child. Parents are not supposed to outlive their children. Condolences to Dr. Dre and Jenita Porter.
