65. Guys, seriously, why are you still even bothering to attack this chick when it's already backfired in your faces? The girl is hot, everyone acknowledges that so let it go. And trying to defend your actions by saying "well Conan did it too" is just absolutely pathetic. This is beyond beating a dead horse now, it's getting downright creepy. 67. Well I don't see the resemblance, but I can definately attest to the fact that she is more attractive than the TMZ staff rolled into one boring, greasy ball of ENVY.

Shawn Johnson has a lot more going on that to worry what tmz posts, you guys need some new material. And at least one hot staff member so you don't look so hypocritical.

I don't usually allow myself to get involved with forums on people in the news, but I felt compelled to this time because I'm livid!! l cannot believe this pathetic excuse for a news organization has the nerve to attack one of the most wonderful young women this country has known in a long time. To compare Shawn Johnson to a rat has dropped you to a level of journalism, and I use that term loosely, so low that even the National Enquirer looks like a legitimate publication. I would have to assume that business must be slow over there, and the same old stale stories have even you bored. So now, instead of covering the losers of the limelight, Hollywood starlettes in rehab for the umpteenth time, spoiled heiresses who think they're above the law, and celebrity offspring following their parents down the same self-destructive paths to ruin, you have chosen to start picking on truly good kids who have done absolutely nothing to deserve it. This comparison of Shawn with this Topo Gigio is downright ridiculous. First of all, I don't see the resemblance whatsoever. Shawn Johnson is a beautiful, sweet young lady who oozes with charm and has more class than anybody working for you, especially the one who came up with this garbage. A rat is a nasty, vile creature with no redeeming qualities, a useless rodent universally scorned throughout the world. To think that someone actually made this comparison because they saw any similarity between the two is beyond ludicrous...it's insane. Secondly, why would anyone want to hurt her, anyway? All that little lady has done is go out and represent the nation proudly in the Olympics by doing her very best in something she loves. She made the country extremely proud, and we adore her for it. I can't begin to guess how she reacted to this absurd notion, but I'll bet it wasn't good. I realize many people do see some likeness there because they're both cute...and I guess I won't disagree. However, despite Shawn's competitive spirit and confidence in gymnastics, I'm sure she's like every other 16 year-old girl when it comes to self-image. All girls want to be looked upon as pretty, and the word "mousey" is not a synonym for it. And that's what you're insinuating when you refer to her this way. In fact, I am pretty damn certain that most guys would give their left arm just to have her in their lives (just check out some of her pics away from the gym and tell me she looks like a rat in those...twenty million boys can't all have bad taste!) Shawn has what I call "solid beauty." She is not only gorgeous on the outside, but she has a warm heart, a wholesome character, a charming sense of humor, and a sweet laugh when she's tickled that just knocks me out. She's a total doll, through and through. Not only this, but Shawn has a good, strong upbringing, with wonderful parents who taught her at an early age that hard work and determination, patience and perserverance are the only ways to succeed in anything. So many other kids her age and even a great many adults never learn this...surely none of the losers I mentioned earlier ever have. Shawn is an excellent role model not only for aspiring gymnasts, but for everyone who wants to excel, and the country absolutely adores her. So for somebody like yourselves to come along and try to knock her down is an attrocity that will not be taken lying down. You people deserve to have your program on T.V. and this website revoked for malicious intent to harm a minor, and since I know that'll never happen unless your ratings plummet, I urge everyone to boycott TMZ. If nothing else, you sleezebags need to stick to doing what you do best.....cover the losers, if you must, but please, just please lay off the winners!!!
