Denver Cops Make ABC Reporter Their B*tch

When a cop tells you to move, you probably should move.

Instead, the man in this video -- an ABC News producer in Denver for the convention -- told the officer, "Hold on." Not a smart move.

The cop didn't take too kindly to that and took it upon himself to move the producer himself. After the cop pushed him into the street, he then told the producer, Asa Eslocker, he was blocking traffic. According to ABC News, things eventually got heated and Eslocker was arrested and charged with trespass, interference and failure to follow a lawful order.

76. ABC News should show this on the air a bunch of times and embarrass the fat ass cop and his family. Cops get away with beating people up every day and we are supposed to call them heroes. I think we live in a police state.

77. Used to strongly support cops -- UNTIL had to actually deal with them and learned firsthand and repeatedly what lying, lazy, rude, sexist, do-nothing creeps they usually are. Do not believe police reports - cops will fabricate. Hope to be on a jury one day with cop on trial. Would not believe a cop.

79. I am not sure what is scary. The fact that Denver Police (and surrounding areas) often act like that or the fact that people here think it is okay. He is a REPORTER, standing on a PUBLIC SIDEWALK. The cop committed a criminal act and should be arrested.

WAKE UP PEOPLE. The Constitution doesn't grant us RIGHTS -- no, our Creator granted us our natural rights -- and the Constitution is supposed to limit the power of the government to infringe on our rights.

This police state is horrifying. I've been in the midst of it all week.

80. I would be very interested to see what the follow up (if any) will be
to this situation. You have a major networks Reporter/Representative
being man handled in broad daylight and in front of recording
cameras. From what I was able to see it did not merit an arrest.
There is some definite time lapse between the Police Officer forcing
the individual into the street and placing the individual under
arrest. What happened during this time seems to be the missing piece
of evidence. I wonder if the guy recording this is holding out for
the October Surprise. I think this Police officer should apologize to every Denver Police Officer because he made them look bad today.

81. And the American media has the audacity to criticize how the Chinese dictatorships treats it's citizens. That cop is a criminal, There are protocols on how to arrest someone. If the police do not follow rules then they have no credibility enforcing them. Disgraceful conduct......Goddamn bully.

82. Wow that's a real nice abuse of Power. The fat pig pushes the guy out in the street and says "Now you're impeding traffic." Wouldn't the fat pig standing right next to the guy also be impeding traffic? Hopefully this pigs boss fires this guy for being stupid enough to abuse his power in front of a news camera. And you know for sure his kids get their a ss kicked daily for being the kids of a pig.

83. Rachel it takes 6 months at a tech school. Anyone who goes to a tech school for 6 months can become a pig. And I'm really glad this fat pig was pushing people out in the middle of the street instead of trying to prevent a real crime from happening.

84. Kailee7984 did you watch the video? The fat pig pushes the reporter in the middle of the street and starts making up lies "Now you're impeding traffic." Why would anyone want some fat jerk who likes to abuse his power in a position of power? Maybe one day you'll be doing nothing wrong at all and some pig with emotional problems will want to take out whatever problems he's having on you. Watch the video before you comment. The pig was way out of line.

86. Nazis will be Nazis. They could have shot the guy and got away with it. Cops are the REAL evil.

87. "failure to follow a lawful order" But when you get an "order" from a pig who is obviously a crooked cop is it really a lawful order? School year just started and this fat pigs kids are going to get a beating at school. It's karma, maybe it won't come back to him directly, his kids will have to pay the price for him being a PRICK!

88. What does being on a public sidewalk have to do with anything?

Cop: "You're under arrest for murder."
Perp: "But I killed him on a public sidewalk"
Cop: "Good point, you're free to go."

Posted at 1:03AM on Aug 28th 2008 by Just because you're on a public sidewalk doesn't mean you're immune to police orders

89. THIS IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN AMERICA IF THE DEMON-CRATS GET ELECTED.
WELCOME TO COMMUNISM IDIOTS.

90. #84 geez if you would read the other comments every one is bashing cops I was just stating a fact that not all cops are stupid as you and others claim! I think people need to realize there is only one side being shown right now and there is only one camera angle and no one knows why the cops were called there in the first place it wasnt like all those officers were just standing around in one spot...Even if the security is higher now.
