17. Some of you guys on here are the ugly ones. Ever heard if you don't have anything nice to say - DON'T! MJ is a legend and will be respected by most everyone in the business. He has inspired so many and as we see today most every young artist copy his every move. And look, these comments about him being a pedophile is just a joke. He loves kids but not the way some of you sick people want him too. All I can say is do your homework. There are plenty of great MJ sites on the net that you can read the court transcripts for your self to better inform on what really happened. Sure he has scandals like a lot of other celebrity. Sure he went a little over board with the surgeries. But being a pedo is not something MJ is! Go on Gloved one...give me a reason to finally watch MTV again. I will even give you a standing ovation because God knows if you do go, you will be the star of the of show with or without a performance. Love ya' man!

18. MTV use to be the greatest in the late 70's and early 80's when they did show real live bands in concert and not just Kid crap with video clips in color. What a waste of network.

19. MTV sucks. Michael Jackson MADE the network into something big back in the 80s, he also forced them to get over their racist attitude by becoming the first mainstream African America to be played on the all-white broadcast. If it weren't for Michael Jackson, MTV would have been nothing. The VMAs are all about which celebrity they can make look the worst to get the highest ratings. What they did to Britney last year was uncalled for regardless of Britney's state-of-mind. Legendary artists should never honor such a joke awards show with an appearance, leave that to the third rate "here today, gone tomorrow" teeny-bop acts like Jonahs Brothers and Miley Cyrus.
