Lets Get This Party Started
Nicollette -- Housewife No More

And they said it wouldn't last.

It didn't: Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have called it quits, ending their engagement after, oh, over two years. The couple had continuously pooh-poohed their not tying the knot, like when Nic told a British tab, "We haven't decided where, and as soon as we make that decision it will happen very quickly."

No word on whether Michael finally decided to sing for Nic.

Keith Urban Slips One

There are creative excuses for not holding the baby, and then there's Keith Urban.

The country singer (and new daddy) has a slipped disc, reports People, but it hasn't affected his performance, as yet. His rep wouldn't comment on how he got the slippage, but reaffirmed there wouldn't be any change to his touring schedule. Urban has been popping back and forth between Oz and North America.

Anne H -- Obama Scares Me

Anne Hathaway has been known to make questionable decisions when it comes to guys.

And -- quite candidly -- she says she was scared by Barack Obama the first time she saw him. (Too bad she didn't have the same reaction with Raffaello Follieri.) The actress says, "I've been burned by politicians before that I wanted to believe in and just didn't live up to it," not unlike other men in her life.

Anne's in Denver to support B at the Dem convention.

16. WHy do people so facinated with what a movie star decides on a president? I don't know they ever live in a real world. Just because you know how to act, pretend to be smart, it doesn't make you become the character. When was the last time an Hollywood actor gave up his self-absorbing way and be real for a change? THink for yourself.

18. Funny thing to me is that the headline is that Obama scares Anne Hathaway, yet the last line states that she is in Denver to support him. Where and how did she overcome her fear? Is that not relevant? Not that anything about her support of the man is essentially relevant to his running for office, but funny that only the negative aspect is shown in the leading line. When will we get to the point of considering the candidates for ourselves and not relying on others to form our opinions? And as for his experience - have you really compared his to that of McCain? His claim to fame is being held prisoner and dumping the first wife for a newer model. Not my ideal candidate.

19. After 8 years of a president whose only 'experience' was running 2 companies into the ground, spending grand-daddy's money, and coddling illegals, I'm happy to vote for a self-made man. Maybe after the November bloodbath the Republicans will start nominating actual conservatives, and I'll be able to vote for them again.

21. Post 11 favors Obama because he’s cute.
Post 12 favors Obama because he’s “athletic.
Now those are a couple of the scariest comments I’ve ever heard!

22. Anne H. is an idiot. Her own empty brain should scare her. Her choices in men should scare her. Now everytime I see her in that pathetic perfume ad on tv, I think what an idiot she is. Goes to show, I don't even remember which perfume she is halking because everytime I see her, I think about her being dubbed and now she's trying to dub the public to buy stinky overpriced perfume. Who cares about her opinion anyway? This country needs a change and be it Obama or Fred Flintstone anything is better than what we have now.

23. Michael is too much of a gentleman for that tramp.

24. Michael, I agree with you accept the voting for conservatives part. But I would vote for an intelligent, well-educated conservative who I believed would think for himself rather than follow the party line. And I will vote against any liberal who doesn't. The problem is finding someone from any party that I can vote for. I am very tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. After all, that's what forced me to vote for Kerry in the last election.

28. kathy4562, yes, total coincidence. Unless you're also going to say that because George Washington shared a name with George Bush, Sr and Jr, that they were both great leaders. Why don't you start thinking with your brain instead of your ass.
