Mackenzie Phillips -- I'm Healthy Except For ...

TMZ has obtained a copy of the police report written after Mackenzie Phillips' arrest. The sad headline ... when Phillips was strip-searched, an officer noticed track marks on both her arms and asked if she was a diabetic. According to the report, Phillips responded, "No, I am healthy except for my drug problem."

The doc details what TMZ reported earlier today. When Phillips was stopped at the screening station at LAX, she "was continually moving" as TSA employees searched around her pelvic area. Phillips then sat down as the search continued, and, according to the report, "a plastic bag containing an [unknown] white substance later identified and tested...positive for cocaine fell down her right pant leg."

Cops then found heroin and other paraphernalia, when "Phillips then spontaneously said "I'm holding" -- slang for saying she has drugs.

32. At 50 years old, still an addict, she's a done deal. She hasn't beat the addiction yet and never will. It's unfortunate, but her past usage and this recent scene at the airport, she's obviously not trying or ready to quit. Blame her parents, friends and anyone else, truth be told the blame should be placed on her. She's had 35 or so years to quit and clearly chooses not to.
Hiding in jail is not the solution, getting in rehab and staying in rehab until she fully understands her addiction, deals with the cause of her addiction is what this girls needs to do. SHE IS NOT READY TO GIVE THE DRUGS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The first step is hers and she is still not willing to give up the drugs! Son or no son! It will take her life before she gives it up, sad to say but true.

34. Too Late, I think we all know the responsibility is on her to quit. And in her case, it is not just an issue of placing blame. I don't ever speak for other people, especially people I don't know. But in this case, I have to guess that the reason so many are compassionate with her where they might be just ready to write someone else off is that we all know that her father started her on drugs when she was a small child. What other case do you know like this? This is, thankfully, rare and so tragic beyond words. She became an addict because her father gave her drugs when she was just a little girl to do with him. This poor girl never had a chance. Now she is an adult making adult decisions. So, yes, now the decision is hers. But now she is an addict, a seemingly hopeless addict. I don't know. I have little patience for addicts. But for this girl, this one is different. She just never had a chance. She is so sick. God, please help her.

35. To #33 Joan Short, absolutely John Phillips is to blame for the child Mackenzie Phillips. Absolutely she didn't have much of a chance as a child. But Ms. Phillips is no longer a child. She is an adult with a child. Drug addiction can be beat and I know for a fact. I had problems with coke but I made myself beat it and I never looked back. It has been over 20 years now. Ms. Phillips needs to either decide she wants to beat this thing ane do it the right way, or face that maybe she does not want to beat her dependency. It is far too late to blame her father anymore...he's dead and is answering to a higher authority. Now it is up to Ms. Mackenzie to be a parent and do the right thing for her child and for herself. If she cannot or will not, the child deserves parents who do care. If I sound harsh, I am not sorry. Every time you decide to use it is your choice. Put the blame where it now belongs, on the user. I hope for her sake she comes clean for good, along with Ms. O"Neal. But no one can do it for them. It is easier to use than to live apparently.

36. I am saddened by Mackenzie's recent arrest. I too, grew up watching her on t.v. Only she can make the choice to quit using drugs. So each day pray for her, but save yourself.

37. Ok, I am completely clueless. I am a mother of 5 and a grandmother. None of my children or teen age grandchildren have ever been in to drugs. ( I myself wouldn't know what any drugs even look like) What is it about drugs that people want to take them knowing what the bad side is to it. What is the good side of drugs? What do drugs do to a person, do they make you feel like you are special, important, beautiful, happy, what? I am not being sarcastic, I just don't know why people use drugs, the reason for using drugs and how drugs make you feel, that you would take drugs knowing beforehand how bad they are. I have always heard how bad they are but have never known anyone who took drugs to ask them what is the good part of drugs. Mackenzie, I realize didn't have a choice due to her father, and now being so addicted she cannot get off of them by herself, I really feel for her, I guess I am just asking why people take drugs since when they come down, I think the phrase is, they are still the same person as they were before taking the drugs.

39. Oh, please....that man shot her full of heroin as a kid and he IS to blame. Her parents also left her and her brother to live alone as kids. She has never known anything but being a drug addict. She has to share the blame with that SOB.

42. The definition of addiction is the use of a substance even though there are catastrophic consequences to the use. Drugs are hard to quit. I know, I've been off of drugs for 2 years. It's hard to explain what addiction is all about. All I know is that when people do relapse, they just have to get back on that horse and try again. Most people don't stop smoking the first time they quit or the second time. It takes many times of quitting to do it for good. I just hope she will get the help she needs.
