David Spade officially killed his almost-celebrity feud with John Mayer in Hollywood last night, tucking his tail between his legs and halting his attack on John's "Why I'm Dumping Jen Aniston" speech. Wuss.
Spade also claimed he wasn't making a run at Jen, they're just good friends. Just like Heather Locklear, right?

17. Let's see. First he comments on the douche's press conference ( which was the right thing to do since he says he's an old friend of Aniston) and after he takes all back. I'm sure Aniston gave him a call otherwise I don't see why he would change attitude. But why is that woman still defending John Mayer I have no idea. That guy's speach was insluting to all the women. You don't date guys like him. I hope Aniston comes to senses and leaves him forever.

They only reason she is annoyed, and you are annoyed is the fact that he broke his contract by publicly mentioning her name to the press. THAT is why you are annoyed. BECAUSE IT BROKE HUVANE'S CONTRACT. So she went to NY, got him to sign a new, even more restrictive NDA and then went to the lawyers the next day. All yo make hi shut up. SHE WAS ACTING.
