Duchovny -- So That's What the X Stands For

David Duchovny has had just a little too much Californication.

The actor says he's entered rehab for sex addiction. "I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family," he says in a statement.

Duchovny is married to actress Tea Leoni, and the couple has two children.

48. With that wife I would be a sex addict too...
And if you all think about it, when these guys don't release info to the press is when things get ugly...or anyone bothered Michelle Williams for releasing a statement to leave her and family alone after Ledger's death???
Good for him for being strong enough to recognize to the world his faults. It shows he is a man of character and that he has big balls!

49. David Duchovny is famous for being extremely well endowed. Perhaps it's literally hard to keep it in his pants.

51. Cheating on Tea Leoni?? Is the man insane?

Go to one of those websites that has hi-res digital photos of celebs and look at Tea. The woman is a goddess!

52.

What I can't figure out is how you become a sex addict. Does it come from having too much sex, too often? Does it come from watching porn videos or internet porn? Is it an enzyme problem or maybe an eyeball virus that you catch over the internet? Really, what is it?

In the old days, people just used to call them ho' dawgs.

Who knew?

54. My question is this....How do you cure a sex addict? With alcohol you're told to never drink again. So will david have to stay away from sex? LOL i mean honestly to get over an addiction i always thought you had to abstain from the very thing that got you into that mess to begin with. Poor tea!!

56. SEX ADDICTION DOES NOT EQUATE UNFAITHFUL. READ UP BEFORE YOU COMMENT.

57. I guess I should expect the type of comments I am reading here, but I had hoped my low opinion of humanity wouldn’t be confirmed. I was wrong. Give the guy a break. I am sure the only reason he said anything in the media about it at all was because some parasitic site, like this one, that feeds voyeurs like us, was going to blow it out all over the world for our entertainment. For all the knuckle-draggers that 1) Don’t believe sex addiction is a serious medical condition, 2) automatically equate anything related to sex addiction to child porn or it’s like, and 3) love to laugh at other people’s problems and faults, take a look in the mirror. You enjoy reading about, judging, and ridiculing other people who are more successful or attractive than yourselves. Take a minute and look at your own life, your family, your problems, failures, and hidden secrets and see how you would like them to be all over TMZ or the National Enquirer. Scary, Huh?

60.

Wow, substitute "alcohol" for "sex" in that sentence and you've got the definition of an alcoholic. Seems as though both are an addiction.
