46. I'm happy McCain chose another Washington outsider as his VP choice. I don't care how young she is... She still has more executive experience than Obama. I would even be happy if she took only 1/3rd of the Hillary supporters. Obama is a nobody and will stay that way. Many people are comfortable in front of crowds and can read teleprompters.... But do they have a solid character like Obama? I don't think so. I look forward to anyone pointing out a single stance that Obama has voiced (other than change)... that he hasn't "Changed".

Palin is a STRONG woman with a proven record of reform. She's taken on the establishment and won. She has more executive experience than Obama and Biden put together. Her approval rating in Alaska is 80% Those who know her, LOVE her.

She is also a loving mother of a child with Downs Syndrom. Obama would've MURDERED her child if he had the chance!

Obama has been a senator for 2 years and he wants to run the country?
enough experience-you decide for yourself
he has picked Biden, an older more experienced VP to make up for his lack of experience

Palin has 2 years experience as Governor-running a state-
only going to be VP-she isn't running for president
she adds youth to McCain's experience
if anything should happen to McCain in the years after he's elected-if he is-her experience will be suitable for governing the country and more indeed than Obama has right now and he's asking the nation to trust that he's ready to run the country

the most brilliant economists, scientists, strategists, advisers etc. in the country-possibly in the world will be at the disposal of whoever wins the presidency -so a lot of who might do best depends on the brilliant team that they call on for help-even if they aren't in political positions-like Bill Gates or Warren Buffet-brilliant minds in all areas

we should all be proud and support whoever wins office
nothing the rest of the world would like more than to see us fighting amongst ourselves!!

49. Another beauty contestant who gains employment because of it and now she feels she can show the world how to run a country as she raises 5 kids. Please honey, the superwoman theory is already out the window, we've tried it, it does not work and can not really be realistically done , those who say it can need to ask your children how they felt why you were playing superwoman and they were being raised by someone else. I'm not into affirmative action picks, but Palin is smart, articulate, and competent in her own right, regardless of whether she has a uterus. And in this case, McCain picking a woman--a bright conservative who happens to be female--was necessary.

53. Stupid decision. If he's trying to attract Hillary voters, he's not going to do it with a pro-life candidate. And if he's trying to attract women voters in general, 99% of them are going to be turned off by the fact this woman thought so highly of herself to put on a swimsuit and parade around a stage like a piece of meat in order to win a beauty pagaent. Wonder what his wife thinks of this - he chose her, the younger woman who had been in a beauty pageant and now a younger woman who also has been in a beauty pageant. I would hate to think at 72 years old that something would happen and she'd become president! 55. Daiv- what the crap to you mean she has "done more for Alaska" blah blah blah. Do you ever pick up a newspaper? They are so out of touch, and out of tune with the continental United States, that they are more foreign to our current political climate than Canada for Greenland. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY she is qualified to become President of the United States should McCain die in office. That would stand the same should she be a woman, man, or any combination thereof.

56. Sarah Palin actually has far more experience than Obama. Before she became Gov. of Alaska 2 YEARS ago, she was a mayor. B. O. was only in the Senate for 143 days before running for Pres. Before that he was nothing more than a Street Activist!!!!!

57. I am inspired! This woman has more experience than Obama does! She has been a councilwoman, a mayor and now a governor. She also saves Alaska thousands of dollars by getting rid of the governor's corporate jet and year by flying commercial. How GREEN she is! Love it! This woman is only 44 years old and look what she has accomplished! She is an inspiration to everyone. And just think, while poor Hilary had to ride Bill's coattails to get where she is today, Governor Palin's husband is a commerical fisherman and an eskimo! Governor Palin did it all on her own! What an inspiration to my three daughters!

I was a big Hillary supporter - but am disgusted with the Democrats. they did not count Florida and Michigan - the media has the orgasmic love affair obsession with Obama, the Obama campaign used race more than anybody. It is just a train wreck.
