When an autograph shirt and a handshake weren't enough, one crazy Michael Phelps phanatic bolted into the NY street right in front of his ride -- hoping the gold medal winner would run her over!

Apparently, she had been doing some swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool.

8. His Mom was my Home Ec. teacher in Middle School. A REALLY nice lady, I'm glad her family is doing so well. She truly deserves it. I hope she keeps Michael grounded with all this crazy fame.
