Did Sly's Stepbro Slay?

Sylvester Stallone's stepbrother is up against the ropes after being busted for alleged first-degree murder.

Bryan Rhodes, the stepson of Sly's dad Frank (so no blood relation), is suspected of being a go-between in an oxy drug deal gone bad, reports the Palm Beach Post. The popo claim Rhodes set up the robbery, targeting a reputed drug dealer, which ended in the dealer's murder.

Sly's rep said she didn't expect him to comment.

16. The family is mourning the loss of a loved one. Suing anyone is the farthest thing from their mind. But, thanks for the suggestion, I'll pass it on. As far as being related to Sylvester Stallone, I believe I was the first person to mention that this had nothing to do with him and he never should have been brought into it. This has been a tragedy for both families.

17. Alright "close friend of Bryan's", you are under my skin...
You are right, Kenny acted on his own. He chose Bryan as a friend, and as such, he chose to trust him. That was his fault, and obviously not his only fault. No one is denying the mistakes that Kenny made, although none of the effects that his mistakes MAY have had on others is irreversable.
"Poor Kenny garbage"?? You are damn right poor Kenny. He was set up to be murdered by someone he called a friend, by someone that you call a friend. You are the one that is poisoning our families. You are making excuses and justifications for murder. You are trying to give allowances to put the families on BOTH sides through the pain that they are feeling.
On top of that, you are trying to assume that there is monetary value for a life. It is so ironic that you are worried that he may be portrayed as the "good kid" that you and Palm Beach Post are trying to make Bryan out to be. And being such a good friend, you should know that Bryan IS NOT in the Stallone family. That aside, none of Kenny's family has tried to portray any kind of image for him. They don't need to portray "good kid" when him know him as a GREAT MAN.
BRYAN IS NOT INNOCENT. He orchastrated a murder. He committed a crime against a man, that man's family and friends, and his own family and friends and should be punished accordingly. (Although no one did ask you.) But considering he is so torn and would never do anything like this...why don't you ask him about his guilty plea of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon? Why don't you ask him about the be murdered for the times he was arrested for drug dealing?

You are right, nothing will bring Kenny back, and whether or not Bryan pulled the trigger, HE is to blame for it. HE IS GUILTY AND WILL SEE KENNY'S FACE THROUGH THE BARS OF HIS CELL EVERYDAY FOR THE REST OF LIFE, SO DEAL WITH IT!

19. Shouldn't both families in the incident be taking care of their loved ones instead of airing their business on tmz?

20. Ok "close friend of Bryans" ,
you are a total dip-sh**!!! Before you get on here trying to talk like you know anything at all get a clue. Yes Bryan is guilty of murder. As told by the detectives in the Palm Beach Post he confessed to setting it up. He admitted to accepting 75 pills if he were to get Kenny there. Its called pre-meditated murder, they had a plan and Bryan acted on it. So he was in Maryland or wherever. Of course he was, he set someone up to be killed on that night so he tried to create an alliby. Whether or not he pulled the trigger he is just as guilty because if it wasnt for him Kenny would not have been there. Yes Kenny did go there on his own, but was directed by that piece of sh** that you call a friend. I know Kennys family and they arent trying to portray anything about Kenny because everyone who matters knows exactly how great of a person Kenny was. He was in a rough spot in which he was getting out of. Also, they arent trying to "squeeze" any money out of the Stallone family. None of this has anything to do with that man, and im sure everyone wished it would have stayed that way. But no, this website got a little tip about something involving a celebrity and ran with it. Once again, before you get on here running your mouth, learn a thing or two about the justice system you low-life degenerate prick.

21. Pleaes...like anyone who knows a Rhodes is surprised by any of this.

Posted at 11:43AM on Sep 6th 2008 by if it walks like a duck and quakes like a duck, it must be a Rhodes

22. To close friend of killer ... aka Bryan Rhodes.... they say you can chose your friends but not your family, unfortunately for you, you chose Bryan as a friend, lucky for you he is behind bars and can't do to you what he did to his "friend" Kenny. and by the way.. Bryan, according to police... admitted to this crime.. where he was at the time is simply geography, so poor Bryan sitting behind bars, is getting what he asked for, and in the state penn, he'll get more than he asked for, he's a pretty sort isn't he? He may not have been the "shooter" but planning a crime makes you just as guilty as the one who pulled the trigger, perhaps your knowledge of the law doesn't go that far, perhaps you should do some research before you blurt out your comments. As for Bryan.. he will be found guilty, and he will go to jail, as for the "laugh at all of you" part, there is nothing, nothing funny about any of this. That comment in itself, makes me question the calibur of a person you are. As for the comment regarding "selling drugs and killing people" Your "friend" Bryan had his hand in that cookie jar as well... only he took it a step further, he PLANNED AND EXECUTED.
I don't believe anyone has said anything about any law suit, odd that you would bring that up, perhaps you are the type of person that would do just that, sue someone and try to extort money from a tragic situation, and that being the case perhaps you deserve a friend like Bryan. And before you boast about how proud you are to be his "best friend" it wasn't a compliment. So pat his back, and kiss him on the forhead and tell him what a good boy he is...

23. This is to the friend of Bryan..................So you hope he gets off of this charge huh? You really think you would be the only one waiting? Honestly you should'nt want that for him. He is safer in prison. Trust me. FYI........the only time your friend will ever laugh again is when he is told to by his cellmate/husband. Then he gets to spend eternity the same way. DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!

24. Bryan and Kenny were friends. Friends who worked together and wanted to go into business together. Unfortunately they both became involved with drugs. Kenny introduced Bryan to needles and very quickly they both became very different people. Kenny actually had plans to visit Bryan in New Jersey before his life was taken from him. I hope all the people who knew and loved Kenny and Bryan and who have been living the same type of lifestyle as they were, will run back to their families for help to get their lives back. Kenny and his family will never have that chance and even though I know Bryan had nothing to do with murdering Kenny, whatever his involvement with drugs and the people he associated with have forever changed his life and those who love him. It is too late for Kenny and Bryan but you still have a chance. Learn from their mistakes and know that nothing good will ever come from doing drugs. If you haven't been in trouble yet it is just a matter of time. Don't take your chances. Get clean! Now! Today!

25. Okay, let's blame this on the victim. Have you bothered to look up his arrest records? Kenny didn't get Bryan into drugs, Bryan got Bryan into drugs. Have you bothered to read the papers? Bryan CONFESSED! If he was a friend of yours be glad he is behind bars and he can't do to you what he did to his "Friend" Kenny. And to his cousin, his name is spelled with a "y" not an "i".
