It's My Party and I'll Be a Little Bitch If I Want To

The folks at MSNBC wants us to make them the place to get our info on one of the most important decisions ever. Turns out we're getting that info from a bunch of whiney, back-stabbing, petty anchors.
MSNBC
An epic feud has erupted on the air between Joe Scarborough, Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews and David Shuster. They're all accusing each other of being bias, partisan and all around D-bags. They can no longer hide their contempt for each other on the air. The deal is that Scarborough is odd man out because he's a former Republican congressman. The others are known Democrats, except for Shuster, who claims he's never had an affiliation with anything except Just For Men haircare.

The New York Post is quoting sources who say Tom Brokaw is disgusted at MSNBC's play to make it itself the official We Hate George W. Bush cable net.

MSNBC's move comes years after FOX figured out that it could score big ratings by aligning itself with die-hard conservatives. MSNBC is now making the same play with whiners -- a large faction in this country that believes the economy is in bad shape.

16. You want to talk bias, turn on Fox!

I bet if you switched it on right now they're talking either about how wonderful George Bush is or about some blonde haired blue eyed white girl who's missing.

17. She was elected Alaska's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.1

Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.2

She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000. 3

Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.4

She's doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.5

She's solidly in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first" energy policy. She's pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won't be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.6

How CLOSELY did John McCain vet this choice? He met Sarah Palin ONCE at a meeting. They spoke a second time, last Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position.7

18. But it's OK for Fox to have a slant but not MSNBC? Page 6 and the New York Post are a less credible source than you claim MSNBC to be. Do you sleazebags want the religious right to interfere with your ability to make a living? Or maybe Larry Craig and Ann Coulter are your biggest fans. Sorry, but this BS about MSNBC is over-exaggerated. It just so happens that these people are so passionate about their beliefs, as pundidts they can barely contain themselves, and occasionally step on each others' toes and have arguments like regular people. There are dissenting voices on the network, and those, like Brokaw, Andrea Mitchell, Brian Williams who provide the "objective" voice, while the others, even Pat Buchanan, and Scarborough, try to be both. Why not bash Fox news instead? These people are beyond passionate- they are mean-spirited and occasionally, psychotic.

19. I am begging you to tell me that TMZ has not been purchased by Rupert Murdoch and FOX!!! If NOT, please be fair and balanced as FOX states they are, you know every other sentence. Talk about guilt. Not everyone at FOX, but O'Reilley pleeeease. I don't guess you've truly watched Hannity. His rants are almost terroristic! Ask yourself one thing only, count the total number of newsmakers (men&women) that have been immediately jerked from the air overnight in the past 18 mths?

24. For All Those Who "THINK" John McCain made the right choice in choosing his VP!! Read Below!

Here’s a report (excerpted from the popular blog The Moderate Vpoice):

[Governor Palin’s] oldest girl is rumored to have actually been the one who had the last baby, the one with Down’s Syndrome. She was taken out of school the last 4 or 5 months of her mother’s pregnancy.

On March 5th, 2008 Alaska’s Republican Governor, Sarah Palin, announced to the media that she was 7 months pregnant with her 5th child. She is currently 44.

Palin’s daughter Bristol is 16 and attends an Anchorage high school. Students who have attended class with her report that she has been out of school for months, claiming a prolonged case of mono.

Palin does not appear pregnant in any recent photographs. The announcement came as quite a shock to people who had worked closely with her, and have been quoted as saying that she did not appear pregnant whatsoever during the prior 7 months.

And there’s more – check out the photo above taken with Palin’s daughter having a bulge in her stomach. And the below pic shows the governor when she was supposedly 6 months pregnant.

And even more. Since these rumors have begun circulating, the Alaska Department of State has taken down ALL PHOTOS of the governor and her family from the state’s website.

This would explain how Palin was able to return back to work after 3 days of giving birth.

We have learned that The National Enquirer is all over this one. Expect the scandal to get bigger in coming weeks…

25. get over it, Fox is equally if not 10x more bias but in the opposite direction. it is clear the Olbermann is bias but in general he is only point out the outrageous stuff done and said on fox. Matthews is annoying because he is loud and obnoxious and cuts people off. And at least Scarbourgh has the decency to be down the middle which does make him the old man out. All I have to say about msnbc is thats its not racist sexist trash news like fox. Hanniety and o'reilly spend 95% of the time reading lie an right wing talking points. What makes them so bad is that thy are generally untrue and blatantly racist sexist or in some other way just awful. And at least MSNBC just desn't bother talking about the other side instead of taunting them to come on the show to ambush them and cut off their mic when they say the truth that fox doesn't want to hear. Fox is full f hypocrites and jerks and MSNBC is full of sycophants and overly intelligent and politic people. Neither is better. Anyone who watches fox as "unbiased" is a fool. And by the way Fox doe not beat msnbc in the rating they go back and forward depending on how tired people are of one of the other. It doesn't matter how mad GBW f-s up Fox is goes to say how great he is and visa versa for MSNBC. CNN just gets annoying with all their shows. If you want unbiased news watch the BBC, american news sucks.

28. Evan...scare the carp outta you? Another libtard who can't handle other opinions. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make you right.

Posted at 2:59PM on Aug 30th 2008 by Damn!

29. Fox is no way as stilted as MSNBC. At least Fox has on Combs and other liberals to express their views. MSNBC especially Olberman has nothing but I hat Bush and Laugh at McCain. And they have the gut s to complain about Fox. They are worse by a longshot.

And I am voting for Obama. I'm not some right wing dude.
