50. does qualification mean they are in some sort of elitist clique? this country is f*cked because we are run by elitists who prevent a non-elitist from getting in. the problem is we have a congress without term limits and a president with them. the congress just needs to stalemate for 4/8 years and a new president gets in and it starts over with nothing being accomplished.

51. the problem is congress. no matter what one party proposes, the other will automatically, by default, oppose it. its a stalemate that wont be ever be broken. their job has become playing an opposition role to whatever they other party proposes. they get rich in the meantime, build huge pensions, free healthcare, etc. why would they actually try to accomplish anything. they dont have an incentive.

52. Well, let's all relax and take a good look at Sarah's resume. She played basketball in high school. She was in a beauty pageant. let's not forget......she was choosen Miss Congeniality! She married her high school sweetheart, who's a fisherman. She's a PTA mom, having five kids. She was Mayor of this hugh town that had about 8,000 people in it. She's a member of the NRA and can shoot and kill ELK. She been a Governor for a whole 2 years. She sold an airplane. YEP!! 54. In regards to the Obama comment about small towns; he is 100% right. All they talk about is which states matter in the election, ohio, florida. Hello, i'd be pretty pissed if I lived in Montana. Obviously you votes doesnt matter. Bush has never visited Vermont in 8 years in office; do those people not matter? apparently not to him. I'm not a Clinton fan but he did something amazing in his presidency, he went to visit an Indian reservation. He was the first president in over 50 years to visit a reservation. i was floored when I heard that. thats before roosevelt. No wonder the indians feel left behind. my proposal: less states. we have too many. left behind states like montana/s dakota/no dakota should come together into a single state. it would give them more voting power and they would also have less government (1 state house instead of 3, etc).

And what was with the Fox News (shocking, I know), reporter saying she has lots of international relations experience because she lives in Alaska which in near Russia?? Seriously? I've been to London - I guess that means I'm an expert on Parliment by that theory.

Jon Stewart was right - Palin is simply McCain's third wife - she stands for all the 'correct' stuff the GOP wants (no rights for anyone but the male Republicans) and she will willingly and happily go with whatever the boys club tells her like the dutiful housewife she needs to be.

Anyone else see her interview from July where she asked what does a VP do anyway because no one has told her? I kid you not and I'm sure it's around on YouTube at this point.
